Hopefully missing the 7th start won't cause me to lose this week too. Actually hopefully all my starts will happen as planned and no last minute changes :-).

Are there any links on who has declared for the draft? Haven't heard a single word on Augustine, though I am assuming he will be going. Hoping he will stay though.

It certainly is a gamble, and a lot of it is determined by their agent. However the way arbitration is going, and the way contracts are going teams can save a lot of money by doing this.

I would say this would be a smart move by them. As many young high quality guys as they got, avoiding the entire arbitration process would be a good thing.

Thanks tim. It has been a great matchup, everyday has been tight. Hopefully cliff lee can find 2006 again today. Man, looks like I would have won if Lee's points would have counted yesterday. That sucks. I don't think I even want to know how many minutes I was late by getting him in, had to have been very close.

One thing to note is that total bases are no longer subtracted overnight. Using the categories of 1ba allowed, 2ba allowed, etc. allows live scoring of total bases allowed. Thus, the overnight adjustments should be much smaller. I have not noticed any problems with the live scoring that others have noted. When do subs or pitchers have to be made on a daily basis. I plugged in Cliff Lee at 11:00 am central time, several hours before his game started and didn't get the points for him.

I miss the playoffs and Roenick. Hopefully next year is the year, and they can get another good lottery pick this year. Outside of that all I really want is to see the Red Wings go down in the 1st round.

Over the course of the whole season Peavy would be the favorite with Webb probably second. Right now Peavy looks almost unbeatable. Plus this might be the year Ben Sheets can stay healthy the entire season. Way to early to tell in the NL. Oh yeah I forgot about that guy over in NY playing for the Mets now too.

glorious. i would've never imagine chelsea would be in striking distance on april 6th. Damn Arsenal and all their draws this year. They really lost it once Van Persie went down. Oh well they will be great for the next 3-4 years.

You are cruising. I need a no-hitter from Lee it looks like. On the bright side I did win $500 today and the Roadkill NCAA bracket challenge, so I can't complain.

I think the closest we got to completing the trade was Sheets, Teixiera, and Towles...that, and I had a hard time trading A-Rod in the division...I'm sure most of the Western teams aren't too happy with me right now... Escobar's exempt status and his ability to play 4 positions (2 of which needed serious help) works out nicely. I really like Kershaw and I need pitching, exempt pitching, badly. Lowell is a gamble... I would have really liked for you to have waited until Monday to make the trade. Hopefully Canseco is not full of it, and Arod has a nervous breakdown and starts crying in the middle of a press conference. My offer for Utley still stands, though I'll have to replace Kershaw... :D Nope with the amount of Exempts I have lined up I might as well keep the best second baseman in the league.

I benched a starting pitcher to avoid having 8 starts this week. My roster might look illegal due to 4 reserves, but have an extra spot open in the starting rotation.

Very stupid question, hydrocodine is making me loopy. Are the matchup running Sunday-Saturday or Monday-Sunday. Just wanting to make sure I monitor my starts per week and not go over 7.

If you want a 2nd baseman Hill is available. If you feel you can blow me away with an offer for Utley go ahead and make a shot. Odds are not good though, and cap heavy players won't make it work.
