  1. I wouldn't call them dumb anymore, they have put together a farm system and base of young talent that I would kill for.
  2. List of the week Teams that have played the five easiest schedules so far, as measured by opponents' winning percentage: Team Pct. W L Los Angeles Dodgers (first 32 games versus NL West, Astros and Nats) .43755 508 653 Boston Red Sox (Angels only opponent better than .500) .45248 519 628 Texas Rangers (2-7 versus teams with winning records) .46703 517 590 Toronto Blue Jays (Orioles only AL East opponent before Tuesday) .47103 561 630 St. Louis Cardinals (13 wins versus teams worse than .500) .47915 540 587 I'm just saying.
  3. Luckily my plane lands in Vegas at 8:30am on Sunday so I will have time to settle in and make a couple of bets :-).
  4. The handled the Sharks pretty easily too. I would still rather face them but it will be a touch series regardless of who you play.
  5. Carroll's obviously much more intelligent than Tim Floyd is. The NCAA is planning on making a comment about this report by June 1st, 2015.
  6. I tried to count the number of fights after the game but lost count. At the very least I hope they all beat the #$%^ out of each other in game 7.
  7. yes? Just seems weird. huh? why? There was a bit of a consensus among hockey fans that the Wings had pretty much figured out Anaheim and would destroy them tonight. And that the Ducks were beaten and worn down. Either way 7 games in this series is the best thing to happen regardless for the Hawks.
  8. Gretzky was 6'0" and a 185lbs.
  9. He would have been useful if he had just learned to lay off of those eyes-high fastballs. Considering all of the guys that find ways to stick in the league he should be able to as well at least as a defensive replacement/pinch runner type of role.
  10. So any new word on TV details for tonight?
  11. That was pretty good, just watched the video.
  12. Cards give up two HR's in the 9th to let the Reds tie it, now 7-7 in the 10th.
  13. He is going to be one of the highest paid players on the Nats before ever playing a professional game.

    Manny

If you want to trade Manny to me, I will let him sit on my bench ;-).
  15. I really don't think he has done all that much with the progression of the kids they got.
  16. Not only without him, but with this distraction. This has the ability to completely ruin their season. I doubt that. They have no real competition in that division. They should still be real good, but he did lift that team a whole lot more thats why I am curious.
  17. Very curious to see how the Dodgers perform without him.
  18. I had to watch the last 10 minutes from work on the Gamecast and the person typing made it sound like Drogba will be getting reviewed by UEFA.
  19. If he worked at it for a couple of years in the minors he could be a pretty decent hitter.
  20. I have a really hard time believing that would be his reasoning. After the the circus last season, what is so hard to believe about Brett Favre harboring such feelings of resentment toward the Packers? From beat reporters that follow the Packers the word is Favre has despised Ted Thompson ever since Aaron Rodgers was drafted in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft. All of this animosity became quite clear after Favre unretired, even though the Packers moved on with Rodgers. Since things didn't go exactly to plan last season it appears that he wants another chance, this time with rumors swirling that he is talking to Minnesota. Favre is a god for some people in Wisconsin, and he would tarnish his legacy permanently if he chose to sign with Minnesota. Why would any rational person choose to do something like that? The truth is they wouldn't. Favre's feelings of bitterness are so strong that he's willing to throw away everything just to have another chance to prove to the world that Ted Thompson made a mistake with choosing Aaron Rodgers to be Green Bay's quarterback of the future. Just like Flames said, Favre's reasoning should not be surprising. Its like Jim Edmonds signing with the Cubs. Except a whole lot funnier.
  21. Do you still have his brother? UT should be interesting having the 2nd best class in the nation. Damion James needs to not hire an agent and come back next season.
  22. #$&%*@! ](*,)
  23. I think I would put USC #4 or 5 just based on the number of question marks they have. Move Texas and OU to #2 and 3.
