This matchup has gotten a lot closer. Still a 1 start advantage over you, I need to make sure to avoid the negative starts. How do you have a 1 start advantage? I've had 4 (Floyd, AJ, Halladay, Bedard) and you've had 4 (Davies, Lee, Dice K, and Kuroda). We each have 3 starts left. Cause my stupid computer java [expletive] runs slow, and it didn't show DiceK when I looked this morning. Damnit. Oh.. now you're down a start (Tallett)! :) Yeah I know, stupid Canadian Team.

I have liked the 5 touches Adu has had so far. He at least acts like he has a clue out there and any potential to do anything.

This team never came to play from the very first minute. Since the begin of his tenure, I have seen almost no emotion from Bradley. This is a game he needs to go into the locker room and go Piniella on their asses. It was ok to not win this game, but they didn't even show up.

Without question the worst defending I have seen right there in at least 2 years. That looked like Brazil vs. Kuwait.

Torres?! Come on, Bob. Please give Guus Hiddink a blank check. I'd kill to have Hiddink coach the USMNT. Maybe he can come coach the US for the 2014 Qualifying and WC after he takes Russia a round or two further than they would go with a normal manager in the 2010 WC. Hey Guus, you just took Russia to the semifinals! You want your last job to be Chelsea or the US? Seriously, barring an Ancelotti reign of terror, Guus will be back at Chelsea after 2010. Based on what he said this sounds true, he loved it at Chelsea. He can stay for two years, then come to the US in 2012. Hell he can work both for all I care if he wants to.

Dallas was stupid to build a beautiful park 40 miles away from anything. Thats actually very untrue. Frisco is a great city, one of the fast growing in the US. Its also right off one of the major highways in Dallas. Plus minutes away from Plano which is probably one of the best and biggest soccer cities in all of Texas.

I like this a lot. Living in Dallas, the Kenny Cooper thing is really pissing me off. MLS doesn't give a sh about this franchise yet Cooper is stuck here, in MLS, while wanting to be over in Europe like he should be.

Ives is reporting Spector isn't dressing and Torres and/or Jozy are starting #$%*#@, I hope its due to fitness and nothing else.

what about outside help? Gregg is pretty much bob howry. I'm actually missing Howry now cause of Gregg. We need someone from the outside. I have defended Hendry a lot over the last couple of years, this is the first year I have been pretty disappointed with the current results. Can Guzman and his sub 1.00 Whip close?

This is true. The US Open will remain his best chance to win another major. I can't believe he is still only 26 though.

Part of me wants Texas to get this kid, part me thinks he is going to be a big headache. Darius White and Jackson Jeffcoat would be huge pickups for Texas if they have any shot. A big time WR would be great for Garrett Gilbert when he is a red-shirt soph.

Thats still only 0.8 hits per inning ;-). The UT offense is the one thing that scares me going forward, the pitching still needs to be great.

Yeah, you're right - he was on the DL to start the year. I had forgotten. I just wonder what, if anything, the Os fixed with him. And whether or not the Cubs would have found the same thing. If anything, its just his confidence. He could lose that on any given play for no reason at all.

They have better ones than the Cubs. I don't think he said we have solid young prospects either ;-).

Exactly. Other than Duncan, I'm not sure there's a pitching coach I'd take over Larry. Leo Mazzone. Yeah, I considered him. His struggles with the Orioles' staff concerned me, but I'd probably take him as well. Leo Mazzone is a toss up, Duncan on the other hand is hands down the best. I'm fine with Rothschild. Hendry loves him as well, if he did leave with Lou I would not mind if Maddux came in as the pitching coach.
