Assuming Tristan Thompson stays and the early word on Jordan Hamilton is that he will stay, Texas should be top 5 next season with a true PG coming into the picture.

Seriously, Quade is really putting that "lineup position doesn't really matter" theory to the test. And I thought Dusty "Catchers hit 8th dude" Baker was bad. I'm trying to think if there is a lineup in baseball with a worst 2-3 than Barney and Byrd. I'm assuming that isn't going to be the full time 2-3 though. Even the Astros and Royals have a better 2-3 than that.

he's okay. he's just amazing against the cubs. .442/.525/.635 in 62 PA's against us :-( But he plays for the Pirates so there is about a 20% chance the next team he plays for is the Cubs. -
He is supposed to start for the Giants moving Huff to LF. He looks good so far too. He's taken more pitches tonight than Corey Patterson's 1st two years combined.

Lyles ties to Petterson are finally coming out. Petterson's fathers comments are not going to be helpful towards LSU who has a long history with Lyles. It's also been long reported he had ties to Bennett and Goodson. This might also force A&M to stay away from Trey Williams and Matt Davis in this next years class who have both already been connected to Lyles. Between LSU and Auburn the sec [expletive] is finally starting to hit the fan.
