  1. Ideally one would like to draft the best available talent that also fits a need, unfortunately that probably won't happen for the Bulls in this draft. To me, guys who might be the best available talent at the 9 (assuming that's their pick): - Conley - Brewer - J. Wright - Yi Guys that fit the need: - Hibbert - Dawes - Noah Given Pax's draft philosophy in recent years, I'd assume he'd go with best available talent. I'm not sure any of those need players actually would impact the Bulls team next year. They may be best off drafting the best available player and trying to package them for a low post threat. With that said - I'm personally up in the air as to the Bulls direction. There are at least 3-4 players listed above that I really would love on this Bulls squad.
  2. We can't beat them in NJ. So we would have to be perfect at home. IMO they beat us if we play. Bulls could certainly take NJ at home, or on the road. NJ has some nice talent, but they certainly haven't faired well against good competition of late. Outside of Washington, they really haven't beaten a real playoff team since Feb. Their home record is only 23-17, and 28-21 in conference. On average, they give up more points than the score. NJ is NOT an average team at best.
  3. yeah, he is, but O$U set themselves up to be a "one-and-done" NBA launching pad program, so they better hope they have a dominant freshman class every year OSU will certainly reload, but I can't see them topping the talent level of Oden, Conley Jr. and Cook. I'm certainly liking them all leaving, Oden and Cook will certainly push a good talent to the Bulls selection.
  4. I wish! But with 6-8 McDonald's All-Americans, I highly doubt it. They'll be weaker in the paint, but they'll probably still be an improved team.
  5. Can't say OSU is playing much better either.
  6. Yeah, the Big 10 gets his services every year for the final since it's the last CBS game before the Selection Show-isn't it just wonderful? Oh yes - this is going to be wonderful. Yesterday during the Wisc game all he talked about was how the Big Ten was boring because they don't score 70+ a game.
  7. Unfortunately, even if Wisconsin wins today, I don't think they have a shot at a no.1. The Big Ten championship game is way too close to the announcement of seedings. The NCAA will probably have to finalize the seedings before the ending of todays game.
  8. Wow - now Flowers goes down. Badgers will need a lot to pill this out. Even more depressing, their tourney hopes are going down the toilet. By Tourney Hopes im assuming you mean winning the whole thing. Please god let Butch be ok. Of course - really just going deep into the tourney will be a struggle without Butch. Although i'm VERY happy to see Flowers is back playing. Badgers need to give Bohannon a LOT more shots.
  9. Wow - now Flowers goes down. Badgers will need a lot to pill this out. Even more depressing, their tourney hopes are going down the toilet.
  10. AH!!!!!!! NO!!!!!! And I missed it, why did Hughes Start? Hughes didn't start, Krabbenhoft did over Butch. Hughes came in early though. With Butch out, Badgers will have a tough road ahead of them. His midrange was a key in getting the lane open for the Badgers.
  11. Hope that happens! The key will be stopping OSU from the outside. They shoot so many 3's, and when they are on, they are just hard to beat. You're not going to stop Oden, but I really liked how the Badgers matched up to him last time. I also haven't been impressed with OSU at home.
  12. Great job by Iowa! Glad to see them take down Indiana. Big win by OSU. Winning at MSU really puts them in the driver seat for the Big 10. With the Badgers winning today, its really going to make the last three games of the season for them big. IMO, Wisconsin @ OSU will be for the Big Ten title (outright or for a share). Go Bucky!
  13. hated to see Bucky lose, but Indiana played a good game. They got hot at the right time.
  14. Should be an interesting match-up. I think it could be Wisconsin's first Big Ten lost, I have been pretty impressed with IU this season. In anycase, it should be a fun game to watch! Go Bucky!
  15. Wow - good to see Stanford pull a nice upset over UCLA. Badgers now should be no.2 in both polls. Go Wisconsin!
  16. The refs were horrid for both sides of the ball. I think I saw Doyle hook his defender at least 4-5 times without calls.
  17. They can try all they want, but they'll still win the game :D I think OSU is still shooting three pointers.
  18. The Hooisers have really impressed me this year. With their play recently, I feel that have separated themselves from the Big Ten pack and fall just below Wisconsin, OSU. If Wisconsin and OSU trip up somewhere, I wouldn't be surprised to see Indiana make the Big10 REALLY interesting.
  19. That's Big Ten refs for ya. Illinois just played a horrible game. Their perimeter D was just horrid and offensively they continue to stuggle. I wasn't really impressed with Oden today, but that's also because Pruitt did a pretty decent job against him. I was VERY impressed with OSU's guards, they really get streaky from 3 pt land. The Wisconsin-OSU matchup in Madison on tuesday will be awesome. Badgers about to take on Minny, should be a good game for the Badgers.
  20. Wisconsin wasn't that good today, but I'm happy with a win without Stocco. But you're right - Iowa wasn't all that good.
  21. Wisconsin wins 24-21. After next week, they'll end up 11-1. Not a bad season for a first year head coach and very young team. Next season they lose two key seniors in Stocco and Thomas, but they'll bring back just about everyone else.
  22. Say what you want about Wisconsin, but they continue to win games. They may end up 11-1 this season, so they're certainly doing something right. AT the very least, they're the best team in the Big Ten not named OSU and Michigan. Heck, I bet if they replayed the Michigan game today the outcome would be much different, as this Badger team now is much improved offensively. I don't think Wisconsin is that good. The only ranked team they've played this year is Michigan and, I know it's not their fault, but they don't play OSU this year. Their out of conference schedule is a doozy: Bowling Green, Western Illinois, San Diego State, and Buffalo. Not arguing that their non-conference schedule is weak, it certainly is. Unfortunately that was an Alvarez methodology that will soon change. But outside that, their Big Ten schedule is something they don't have any control over. You can't say Wisconsin is not that good, because there is nothing to base that off of, they haven't played the teams as you mentioned. Rather, you can certainly say they're unproven because they haven't been tested much this year. Hopefully they'll get a good test in the Capital One bowl.
  23. 24-14 Wisconsin.
  24. Ugh, that sucks. Wisconsin looking to seal the game at 13-3. Stocco goes out with an injury.
  25. Great first half by NU! Hopefully they keep it up. Paul Hubbard just made a really nice grab to make it 10-3 Badgers. Wisconsin has dominated the game but really haven't capitalized.
