  1. Zito and Soriano should be at the top of the FA list for the Cubs.
  2. WHO KNOWS? Well there wasnt really a save chance for Dempster the past week. True, but a good manager will give him at least an inning in between to prevent rust. Pitch in the pen as much as you want, it's not the same as facing hitters. You have a point
  3. WHO KNOWS? Well there wasnt really a save chance for Dempster the past week.
  4. Good point. When was the last time the Cubs signed a top FA? Shane Andrews?
  5. Schmidt is one hell of a pitcher I wouldnt mind having him here but there is a injury concern with him.
  6. I think Zito will be their number 1 target this off-season. And they're going to fall short, and Hendry will give his typical crap that he tried. wouldnt doubt it
  7. I think Zito will be their number 1 target this off-season.
  8. Does anyone know what the cubs are hitting as a team with RISP?
  9. Im a big Hendry fan but I have to question him on what the hell he seen in Rusch to give him a 2 year deal.
  10. I say it right now. Hill will never be a effective starter. There I said it and I will stand by it. I hope that I'm wrong....I really do. But he's already an effective starter at AAA, so what are you basing this on? Key word being AAA...The minors are filled with effective minor league starters who never made it in the big leagues. I think Hill will be best suited as a lefty specialist if he can gain some sort of control. What's with all this Hill love? What has he shown that leads you people to believe he'll be a good starter in the ML? A really really really big curveball. That he can't get over the plate. You want to see a good curveball that is thrown for strikes watch Marshall. He can get it over the plate in AAA. Is that minor league plate smaller? I don't think the plate is smaller, but I do believe his stones get smaller when he takes a Major League mound. It's more mental than anything
  11. I wonder why we got Phil Nevin. Good question. Womack is in a 2-23 funk too I think
  12. Wonder if Kent Mercker was named
  13. I wonder if the outcome of today's game would of been different if Treeman would of done the thread for today's game.
