    That's disgusting. If it is Prior's first game back after his rehab, and he is at 140 pitches through 7, with a no-no. You keep marching his ass out there. You never take that away from a pitcher. It's hard for me to agree more with a post than this one. Ok with Prior coming back from a shoulder injury no way in hell would he last more than 100 pitches in his first start back let alone 140.

    I wouldnt mind having Soriano at 2b next year. He is the right kind of guy for Hendry he has speed and power, but one flaw on him is he has a horrible glove at 2b.

    Yeah i remember the game in Houston when i think it was Ramirez hitting a 3 run HR and Barrett was up next and it was so obvious that Oswalt threw at him on purpose.

    Miller was scheduled to throw in single A last week but I havent seen anything about him making a single start yet. This could be a concern since he was supposed to come back before Prior. Does anyone have any news on his progress?

    Marshall needs to start pitching better on the road. In the mean time Nevin will probably start at 1b tomarrow and Walker will be moved to 2b. Prediction: Cubs win 5-4

    So you don't have a problem with Neifi batting second? You don't have a problem with Dusty's complete ignorance of OBP? Dusty sucks. Thats your opinion and I respect that. I do have a problem with neifi batting second but i dont have a problem with him in the lineup

    BARRY BONDS I believe this was discussed in another thread already. The giants rotation that year combined for 66 wins, i think that played a roll in them winning the NL pennant

    Bottom line Dusty gives the cubs the best shot of winning. You actually think bringing in a new manager would change everything? Wouldnt change the fact the cubs have had 3 rookies this year making their first major league start, wouldnt change the fact Lee their best hitter and the 05 hitting champ is out of the lienup. How can you win with 3 rookies making starts?
