    Any updates on Wood's towel throwing? He's probably just going to keep throwing that towel all over the place until the used car market picks up and he can find a new job. I thought he was enjoying his time on the DL and isn't looking to work. Alot if not every pitcher uses the towel drill to work on mechanics. The drill works on extension the more extension the more velocity you will have. The towel drill is a good off-season exercise to keep your mechanics in line.

    Pratt, Hawkins, Patterson, Hill, Choi...shall I continue? Hawkins and Patterson maybe, but Pratt and Hill were broken before that. Choi wasn't exactly headed for stardom either. Dubois, Remlinger, Farnsworth, Sosa.... All 4 of these guys are bums.

    Dempster has struggled in the closer role recently because he gets 1 save chance every other week. Im not sure if Jim would trade him because now your creating another hole for the 07 team. You already need a new CF, a 2B, 2 starters, a arm in the pen, a LF maybe, and you may need a RF.

    Will Prior be back for Rusch's next turn in the rotation, or no? They said during the game yesterday that if all goes well in his AAA start tomorrow night, he could start this Sunday against Detroit. I'd rather have him pitch two more starts. I don't want another Kerry Wood can't make a 5 day start. Make sure he's ready... I like our future: Z Marshall Marmol Prior (if healthy) Maddux (I hope they lock him up for two more years) I like the Rotation to look like this: Z Zito Prior Marmol Marshall

    How about a rotation of: Zambrano, Zito, Prior, Marmol and Marshall next year?

    Yeah I know they have Dempster for the 9th but the way Marmol threw today maybe you give the kid a shot to stay in the rotation and put Kerry in the closer role. There is no way the Cubs will pick up his $13 million option so why not see if Kerry can be that dominant closer and then maybe give him the closer's job next year if he performs well enough.
