    You've obviously forgotten who Ronny Cedeno is. Cedeno's had his fair share of games, but Jones played absolutely abysmal out there. Probably the worst "performance" we've had from a position player this season. It's time to trade Jones. How about Jones for Bonderman?

    Agreed. The Cubs cannot afford to lose Bob Howry, imo. He is an extremely important piece in that pen.

    Jones for Dustin Moseley sounds good to me. Though, I really dont see a need to trade Jacque at this point.

    JJ Hardy is a freaking stud. So much for being that "black hole" in the lineup. He is doing exactly what I thought he was capable of doing this season. He is my favorite ss in the game.

    Real solid outings from Marquis and Dempster tonight. Izzy also had a real clutch hit in the 9th. With Zambrano and Hill going in the final two games of the series, I am feeling pretty confident in a Cubs sweep!

    I would hope he would make those plays. He really did not have to range into the hole to make a play. Everything was hit right at him. Im still not that confident with him at ss. Are you confident with Cesar Izhoribble at SS? Not trying to pick on you directly dude, but I really can't stand the philosophy of "good" defense making up for a pathetic bat...I really can't. Im confident with Izzy making the defensive plays at the ss position. However, im not confident with him swinging the bat. I value defense pretty high on a baseball team. The ss position, in my opinion, is a very demanding spot on the field that needs to be filled by someone who fields the ball consistently. Can Theriot be that guy? We will find out. He is athletic enough to play it, but can he play consistently like Izturis has shown he can?

    I think your the only one on this board that actually has hope and thinks this team is capable of things like that. Having a daughter has done that to me. I refuse to get too wrapped up in it anymore. So you're saying I should go knock someone up? Mind as well.
