    Sounds to me like they are just dotting the I's and crossing the T's. This probably gets done like D Lee's deal did.

    Cincy always had the first game until they said the other day the Cubs vs Mets in Japan (I didn't think that was the first time it didn't happen, but maybe it was). Since then, they've decided to put this Sunday night game in, and just leave Cincy's game as the traditional day game rather than move it up to be the first game as usual. That's bogus baseball is all about tradition. I guess money trumps tradition every time.

    Wasn't there a time where Cleveland or Cincinatti vs. whomever, always had the first game of the year. A day game I believe. Am I wrong on this.

    I can't say that I never have booed but I do try to refrain from doing so. I don't got a problem with a person who does it within reason though. It seems like sometimes athletes think no matter what, fans should bow down before them. As far as Cubs fans being the lovable losers, I hate being called that. Cub fans rejoice in every win and hate every loss at the same level as any other MLB team. It's just that we have loyal fans and a great ballpark not that we enjoy losing.

    I remember that. I also remember being mad because I didn't have a local WB affiliate where I lived. Then one magically popped up.

    There is no doubt that ratings locally the Sox won the battle but I am not sure if that is the case nationally.
