  1. I love when the Cubs play in Milwaukee. It's funny when the Cubs do well and the crowd is louder then when the Brewers do well.
  2. It's time for us to take game 2 of our 3 game sweep.
  3. My point of view on the following. Wrigley is a dump: No it's not. They are addressing the concrete and when did old mean dump. Wrigley not kid friendly: Well don't take your kid to the bleachers. Going to a baseball game is about the ball game not the other things. Minor League stadiums have long been considered kid friendly but outside of a few games between innings it's about the game. (Those games usually involve just a few kids). Moving to the Burbs: I've stated Chicago is a baseball town and the Cubs should be in the city simple as that. Anyway, Chicago is a central point of all the suburbs no matter what burb you go to it will be further away for some then Chicago is. Getting in and out of Wrigleyville: Aren't there some places to park that are not right next to the ball park. Any sports event you are going to have problems with traffic. One knows if you park next to any stadium, park, rink it's hard to get out. Try parking in the places not next to Wrigley.
  4. For those with Dish could a person just get their sports package (all the local sports channels). You are not getting all the games but you are getting a bunch of them.
  5. But it's not selfish of you to want to keep it in the city? Pot meet kettle They are the CHICAGO Cubs, not the Schaumburg Cubs, Evanston Cubs, etc. The stadium should be in the city. I know other towns do things different, but there's no need to move them out of the city. Chicago is a baseball city. It would be a sad day if either team moves to the subburbs. If you are the type that wants to blow up Wrigley so be it (although I think you are crazy) but at least keep it in the city.
  6. That is GOOD news. What about Dish Network.
  7. Nope. I'm considered a Rangers market according to MLB even though those games aren't always broadcast locally. That must be why they blacked me out to. Stupid MLB maybe they should check out who gets the broadcast before they blackout us.
  8. Can you get that game on any other Channel vance. They did that to me for the Twins game and I couldn't even get the local broadcast.
  9. This game is blacked out where I live. Maybe that's a good thing. To bad the Twins are my favorite American League team.
  10. I wish Joe would stop cheering for the Cards. I swear I heard him say Oh no when the mets made that great Double Play.
  11. I actually felt bad for Hawkins on more than one occasion, for the way he was treated by the fans. However the 'Destroy LaTroy' shirts did make me laugh. I felt bad for LaTroy also, but for a different reason. He was signed on to be a set up man, and he did that job pretty well. His history as a closer was not good, and Dusty just kept feeding him to the wolves. Dusty pretty much set him up to fail.
  12. If a pitcher is starting they will have this designation by it ^.
  13. That is how you catch the ball St. Louis take note. On second thought keep on doing what your doing.
