  1. 8 weeks from today I will be in Wrigley. :D :) 8-) \:D/
  2. Today was extremely stressful for me today. Got 2 tix right away one of them being April 21st St. Louis game the other being the Saturday June 16th San Diego game. Then my computer locks up. So I restarted it. I then got the St. Louis Friday game in April. Just minutes after that my cable modem dies. I call the cable company and they say I can swap out a new one if I go to their office that is 20 miles from where I live. I decide to go to a public library that is 7 miles away. I get through and buy the Friday June 15 San Diego game. After this I kept on getting through but when I got to the confimation stage it would not let me buy the tix. So then I decide to drive to the Cable companies office and swap out the modem. Which is now 27 miles from the library. My Mom and Step Dad live in that town so I go to their house to save on time. They have a Mac and I guess with those you cant do the multiple window trick. So I leave there. I hook my modem up and find out I have to call the cable company and register the modem. This seemed to take for ever. Then I finally got in at 4:00P.M. and got the last three games I wanted. (Seattle series in June) I got all the games I was shooting for and am sitting where I want to sit (the bleachers). But it sure was irritating how it didn't go all that smoothly. Sorry if this is to long but I just had to vent.
  3. Keep clicking it...you'll get through. Whatever you do, don't close it! Mine is happening after I put in all my CC info.
  4. I'm getting that too.
  5. Everyone needs to go to lunch but me.
  6. Got in 2 times in the first 20 minutes. Since then my computer locks up and nothing since restart. The VWR god's are getting their payback. :(
  7. I lost 20 minutes from my computer locking up.
  8. Has anyone got through using Firefox. All I get with them is MLB ticketing can't figure out what team you want. Got through 2 times with IE.
  9. I got in twice now. Decided to go to the St. Louis game in April.
  10. I got in once. :D :D :D
  11. I got 90 going between firefox and IE any more then that is when I have problems.
  12. Why are we getting excited for the VWR to open? Isn't 10:00 our big time? We can set up our windows at 9:30.
  13. I see a lot of people are taking this day off from school/work on here. Do a lot of you get laughed at for doing this? They do at my job. They just don't understand. To me this is the first sign that spring is on the way. Not a stupid groundhog.
  14. I'll just have my one computer but I am taking the day off to do this. Just like the last 2 years. I am hoping the tix won't be so hard to get. With last seasons records maybe that will be true.
  15. :x  :x  :x  :x  ](*,)
  16. 24 wins from Wood out of the bullpen. That's impressive. Hey you never know, he might strike out the side every inning he's out there. I'm more impressed with the 300 K's in less than 100 innings from the pen. I've seen Kerry strike out 4 in an inning a couple of times, but he'll have to do it quite a bit to hit those numbers!
  17. This is so wrong. But when the Pitchers were practicing fielding I couldn't stop thinking where is the towel when they mimicked a pitch.
  18. It's nice to see my hawkeyes NCAA chance just went from longshot to slim to none. :(
  19. I see at least one person had a problem with the live draft. Whatever day you make it please make it a weekend day. During the week I leave my house at 6 AM and don't usually get back until 8 PM.
  20. This is just a slipery slope the Cubs got on 5 years ago. Just another step to whore out Wrigley Field.
  21. I vote for H2H as their are many first timers. Also like the idea of max IP.
  22. That looks like 10.
  23. Just imagine if JM starts out 4-0 with a 2.31 ERA in April, people will refer to #21 as the greatest Cub Pitcher ever.
  24. That record may never be broken.
