  1. Floyd went around, West didn't need to ask for help. And why is it disgraceful that he tossed Floyd? He followed Floyd back to the dugout, then tossed him. Floyd was complaining and yelling the whole time and probably had some choice words for West. And West didn't follow him all the way back to the dugout. West made the right call. Floyd complained. Floyd got tossed. Plain and simple. Which game are you watching? He followed him back to the dugout. Plain and simple. Like I said: West made the right call, Floyd complained, Floyd got tossed. It's not rocket science. He followed him part way because Floyd was complaining. Floyd had no business arguing that call. Of course he did, West didn't ask for help. Floyd was done saying his piece and then West ran him down and tossed him. Completely bush league by West, which is fitting because he was terrible today. Why does West have to ask for help? I didn't know that was in the rule book. West thought he made the correct call - which he did - so why should he ask for help? And Floyd was complaining in the dugout too before West tossed him. Don't make Floyd out to be completely innocent here just because you have a vendetta against West. Floyd can complain in the dugout; he was away from the ump and not being confrontational until after he was tossed. The bottom line is he walked away and West followed him in an effort to pursue the argument... Joe West has a reputation for being inflexible but because he's been around forever he'll probably not be reprimanded. What bugs me about the ejection is what bugs me about some refs/umps/officials in general. There are some of these guys who think they are above the game. A good ump diffuses the situation West exculated it. He went after Floyd plain and simple.

He was just trying to provoke something.
  3. I was hoping Dlee was staying in the game.
  4. Yes, they were on MVP but I was just listening for Lee's name and it never came.
  5. Both WMVP and WSCR are saying Lou said he may move Dempster to the starting rotation.
  6. One game on WGN is Cubs, the other is Sox announcers. Cubs had friday. Makes sense. I was at work on Friday and didn't realize that. Is Lee going to be in the lineup today, does anyone know? Michael Barett was just on WSCR and said the line-ups not up yet.
  7. Please don't let this be the highlight of our year like that was.
  8. This is propably way off the wall but this reminds me of the Jim Rome and Chris (Chrissy) Everett thing. Which I think was staged to help Rome's ratings. Aren't North's ratings going down.
  9. Looks like the Brewers are finally coming back to earth.
  10. Just get on base ARam and let MB hit the GS.
  11. I love people who say I've given up already. Pretty easy to be this type of fan. If the Cubs fail they can say I told you so. If they don't well the Cubs had a great season and that's what everyone wants. Part of being a fan is riding the peaks and valleys.
  12. NO Soriano sucked at 2nd before, just because he played there once doesn't mean he was good at it.
  13. What would be funny is if the someone threw a ball back that said this isn't the real ball sucker.
  14. Ken Cub I think you are letting your hatred of Bonds cloud you judgement here. The home run record is the most valued record in all of baseball. No matter what people are going to pay for that ball.
  15. Bud Bundy did it 3rd base.
