    i heard on espn radio today that the fat bastard was told by the third base ump that lou kicked him and he relayed that on to mlb. in an interview with lou before the game he was specifically asked by the media if he kicked him, so i think that's the contact in question Yes, the Atlanta broadcasters today were talking about the kick to the leg by Lou and they showed a replay that showed Lou's foot making contact with the 3rd base umpires pant leg on the first dirt kick. It was a very slight kick if it even went through the pants to his leg. At worst he barely tapped him and it's pretty obvious that it was NOT intentional. I have to think since they suspended him right away that he's going to get more than one game. I'm guessing that it will either be 3 or 5 games which is complete BS. It's BS he got one. So how many games does Froeming get suspended for. He actually pushed him. :x

    Some people must always complain. There is no way that's an inside the park. For that to happen you need the ball to bounce really far from the outfielder.

    Even though I think the Lou suspension is BS having Tram manage for a few games is not the worst thing in the world. It's not like he hasn't done it before.

    It's too bad the MLBPA can't file a grievance on his behalf. That right their says it all. MLB is afraid of the Umpires union. If anyone should be suspended it's the fat man Froeming.

    I just knew this would happen. This is complete asinine. It's OK for Froeming to push Lou but nothing happens to him. The initial umpire doesn't diffuse the situation but escalates it but Lou gets suspended. Listen MLB the umpires are not above the game.

    Come on now people quit with the sky is falling down talk. This team could still win some where in the low to mid 80's. They have played awful as of late but it's not over yet. Signed the optimistic fan most of you hate.

    They both will be here the rest of the year. Barrett will not be around Z ever. Next year Barrett probably won't be resigned. Even though MB is not hitting like were used to he's still a better option then Blanco or the guy from AAA.
