  1. The Bills have no defense, a million years old Fred Jackson, lost their 2nd best wideout and all their offensive numbers from last year were from playing from behind. They had a -142 point differential last year. 4-12 looks likely. They're really bad.
  2. McNabb @ SD or Manning @ Was
  3. I'd go with Lloyd. Raiders lost Nnamdi Asomugha.
  4. Holy [expletive] at the MIN +9 @ SD line. I'd be betting that hard.
  5. http://www.myfoxhouston.com/dpp/sports/mlb/110907-moving-astros-to-american-league-important-for-crane%27s-bid-to-buy-team
  6. Wells vs Carolina; Greene vs Dallas; Bush vs New England I'm leaning Wells.
  7. This game is fun as hell so far. 50 points total scored with 11 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.
  8. I may just be listening to the wrong people, but I've heard very few people give Baylor much of a chance tonight. I'm really excited about it since I think it'll be a lot closer than that - I could easily see Baylor knocking off TCU. And I'll probably be pulling for Baylor too since TCU isn't a mid-major anymore (at least long term) so them busting up the BCS wouldn't be as meaningful. I know nothing of Baylor this year, but it seems like they always have the talent for an upset.
  9. He's a terrible, terrible human being.
  10. They've worked them in and out all game. There hasn't been a single starter playing this drive. Yep, the last drive there weren't any. What was the reasoning behind that tonight? If I had to guess it was because of the shortened camps and that they've looked bad so far. Part tune up part kick in the ass.
  11. They've worked them in and out all game. There hasn't been a single starter playing this drive.
  12. Chris Johnson gets 4 years 53.5 million with 30 million guaranteed.
  13. The Rays are going to want good baseball players for Upton.
  14. He's Rick Ankiel 2009-current. Long, loopy swing, no pitch recognition and no strike zone recognition. Can't catch up to the chest high fastball or lay off the slider in the dirt, but can't help but swing. That was the first thing that came to mind watching him a couple years ago and glancing at his stats, and it hasn't changed. Teases you with ability, but lets you down with results. Just my Cardinals fan 2 cents.
  15. In a league with a guy who has played before and is the league's commissioner, and he took Dallas Clark with the 5th overall pick.
  16. I think the Padres scored like 10% of their total runs in 3 games against the Pirates.
  17. Terrell Thomas, who was injured right before the half, is out for the season with a torn ACL.
  18. I don't remember the earlier posts in this thread, but just in case this hasn't been covered yet, I would just like to say: Awesome. This guy needs to be in the majors yesterday. Any chance he'll get traded to the Cardinals? Oh my God I hope so.
  19. I don't think you can completely discredit defensive stats because of weird stuff like that. Fluky crap happens. Uggla was hitting like .170 over a couple hundred PA, which is fluky enough, and now has a 30 game hitting streak. Casey Kotchman is hitting .340. Lee has probably just been positioned perfectly for a large amount of his chances. No different than a lucky BABIP. Since all the metrics seem to be in agreement over it (TZ, UZR, DRS) that's gotta be what's going on.
  20. It just uses Total Zone, so no.

  22. I doubt that Me too. Hmm. Head over to Cubs.com or ESPN and start this same exact thread. I'm curious.
  23. Larry Walker hit .363 .445 .630 1.075 and finished 17th. In the NL.
  24. 9 games out. Given up 28 runs to the Padres at home in 2 games.
  25. From 1st to 8 games out in three weeks. Giving up over 5 runs per game and scoring less than 3.5.
