  1. Don't think so. Think he just flipped out and set a dude on fire.
  2. There's a kid in a tree. [expletive] just got real.
  3. Guy making sense interrupted with JOE PA SHOULD BE HERE FOR LIFE awesomeness
  4. HE BUILT A 10 MILLION DOLLAR LIBRARY
  5. INTERVIEWS WITH DRUNK STUPID COLLEGE KIDS YES!
  6. Mainly their families, but yeah. Henry Blanco's brother was kidnapped and killed a couple years ago and some players son was kidnapped last year I think. I'm amazed this isn't getting more press.
  7. I don't think he fully understands his firing.
  8. Might be even uglier Saturday if Nebraska rolls em.
  9. Got a really bad feeling about this one.
  10. HOW Throwing the ball way behind him
  11. Nor does Melky. Colvin is at least younger and cheaper for a longer period. Neither is particularly likely to have value going forward, so take the guy who's been slightly better in the minors, is a little younger, and is cheaper. I'd have done neither deal if I were the Giants, though. I don't know why you would look at Melky's numbers when he hasn't been in the minors since 2005. Colvin is a guy who K's in 25% of his PA and can't get on base at any level and only 1 year younger than Melky. Melky's not good, but Colvin is absolutely worthless.
  12. This is what I immediately thought when I heard the news of this trade. Byrd was my first thought as well, but then I started thinking about Colvin. Colvin actually had a better minor league OPS than Melky and is a couple years younger. I'd like to have seen the Cubs get in on that and I think it would've been a better deal by the Giants. Colvin probably doesn't have the perceived value Melky does, though. Colvin doesn't have any value at all.
  13. You didn't miss much. It was incredibly lame. 20 some odd minutes of boring fluff. It would have been more entertaining if they just put his top most impressive highlights into about a 2-3 minute film. It was him hitting homeruns in slow motion and standing at the plate for 10 seconds watching them while "Sailing" played. It was amazing.
  14. Just came here to post that. I swear Jean-Ralphio made the video.
  15. Never heard of them but that's about the greatest thing I've ever heard.
  16. I obviously didn't watch them as much as you guys but I swear every time I saw them, Dempster was pitching in the 6th inning at 110 pitches obviously gassed, Koyie Hill was playing, and the lineup could have been drawn out of a hat. Edit - or what Rob and Outshined said
  17. 7 years here? Holy crap. How many spent hospitalized?
  18. I think his results (4.23 K/BB) even though he's very raw are why Law, Goldstein etc. are so high on him. It was only 56 innings in Rookie ball, so I'm not all that sold, but I'm glad the Cards are finally drafting some HS arms with upside instead of unpolished college arms. I know, Cardinals prospects blah blah blah.
  19. Even if they don't, that's ok too. It's just a silly game.
  20. Stupid me first guy getting on base all the time and hitting the ball over the fence.
  21. Perhaps he (and many others) saw Sosa for exactly what he was. A cheat, a me before the team player and a guy who was allegedly linked to steroids. Maybe the forum was not proper but it was 100% accurate. Stupid me first guy getting on base all the time and hitting the ball over the fence.
  22. Good god I'm gonna be pissed if he gets the job.
