    :roll: I prefaced all of my Dempster comments admitting they were wrong on irrational on my part. Now I have to see this ignorance every time Dempster has a good outing. Do you not think there is at least a tiny difference between this game (middle of the season on a team going nowhere) and the first game of the first round of the playoffs? I stand by my comments. He was at his worst when the pressure was at it's peak. It's ok, you'll never be known as the biggest dempster hater on this board. That's just it. I'm not a Dempster hater. Far from it. I just think he needs to be moved at the deadline for prospects that can contribute when the team is good. Likewise for Soto, and to a lesser extent Garza. I stand by my comments and I feel strongly that Dempster is not a big game pitcher. That isn't the reason I want to see him traded. He's been very good the first half of the year and I'm thrilled for that.

    The shoulder would scare me. Personally I think pitching has to be a higher priority for the front office and I would use the prospects to get a TOR guy. A good argument could be made either way but I would pass.

    I'm in line with you. The lack of pitching there makes me a sad panda though. Alcantara is 20 and is more than holding his own in the FSL. I don't follow the farm as much as I used to but it feels like he came out of nowhere. I'd like to see some more patience (12BB/51K in 288AB) but for a kid that doesn't turn 21 until October he's coming along nicely. Where was he on your top 30 last year?

    Ryan Harvey part two seems like a pass to me but even if the Cubs aren't truly interested I'd like to see them stay involved if for no other reason than to drive up the cost to whoever does sign him.
