    In my several years of going to Cubs-Cards games at Busch (old and new), I've never seen as many Cub fans than yesterday. Great atmosphere, and of course we had a lot to cheer about. I'm heading back down there tonight...I expect fewer in blue because of the late start time...time to light up Wellemeyer.

    Frank wore out his welcome by whining...cue broken record. I don't care for much of anything about the White Sox, but I always had a special disdain for that guy.

    I'll never forget the party on campus when we beat AZ to get to the FF a few years ago. Absolute insanity on the hill. UNC is a dream matchup, to my mind. To win it, we should go through Roy.

    Seriously, why doesn't Gus Johnson just get up from press row and go sit with Curry's parents. There's praising the guy and then there is this... Perhaps they know most of the viewing audience wants Davidson to win, but this is obnoxious. ...but I will admit that I am always more annoyed by these sort of things when KU is not playing well.

    This couldn't have set up any better for KU. Man. Which means if they don't make the FF, we'll start to hear grumblings about Self.

    Not that I would dare read anything into it, but the Trib's articles and blog posts are making this thing (and maybe another deal) sound inevitable.

    Yeah, it is a good move for the Cards. Not because Lohse is going to tear it up, but because after Wainwright and Looper, their rotation is a disaster. I really don't think management is interested in competing this year. I think they know they another year or two of fan content before they have to dump a lot of money into the team again. But they have to at least look like they are trying. That's what this is.

    Beat me to it. Great to see them going into a tough place for them and pulling out a huge win. Can't have a letdown tomorrow night though. Unfortunately there can really be very few letdowns over the next month.

    Andy made fun of my freaking fantasy league! Literally. Steve (aka Pine Tar Incident aka the guy whose regular league drafts at Buffalo Wild Wings) is in my longtime keeper league. So Andy made fun of him, he made fun of me. And we're drafting at BWW again this year Andy. In yo face.
