    Regardless of Marquis' suckiness so far, this offensive performance is certainly inspiring.

    WHIP is a bad stat. I'm far from a stathead, but it seems an incredibly good stat. Higher WHIP = higher pitch counts, more pressure on defense, and usually more runs. Please explain...

    At the risk of being, uh, foe'd, I have to say this has been a really effing stupid start to this game thread. Now, Marquis, I'm looking forward to hearing you talk in that silly NY accent in the post-game press conference about how effortlessly you three a two-hitter. Make it happen.

    So, tried to get tickets this morning to see the Bears play here in St. Louis in November. But, the Rams are doing that super pathetic and embarassing thing where if you want Bears tickets, you have to buy tickets to another game as well. I guess that's what happens when you have a crappy team playing in a crappy stadium and several games are blacked out because you can't sell out. Rant *off*

    I'll be in attendance for that one. Would be very amazing, but yes, unrealistic. The Cubs will have a chance to bury St. Louis next weekend if they don't lose any ground over the next seven, which I can't imagine they would.

    Really surprised that he isn't in the clubhouse packing his things. I guess it doesn't matter if Lou is not going to use him though.

    Wish I could be at Wrigley tomorrow afternoon. I agree that 2/3 from Pitt is satisfactory this weekend, though when they start winning games like this I pretty much expect them to win every day, especially at home.
