It's probably because it's a noon start so should be over by the time the national game starts at 3. I don't think that's it. I looked at this last year. FOX's contract allows them the exclusive TV rights for all games starting before 6pm on Saturdays. Obviously there is some loophole that allows WGN to show the games. Perhaps it is that it's considered a local broadcast, which just happens to be on a superstation. Because, you know, all the local channels are still allowed to show their own Saturday afternoon games, of course. That's my best guess. Nevermind all that. Rich, we need you today pal.
