    Your family members really need to be more considerate with their timing. I guess I can't blame them though, the way this race is going. (Sorry if that's not funny, and sorry for your loss. Hopefully it proves to be a bittersweet day.) Thanks. It's cool. And given how much of a Cubs fan he was, if by some miracle they do win it all, it will be just slightly bittersweet that he didn't get to see it.

    I really wanted to go to Cincy. But I had a death in the family and the memorial service is scheduled for Sept. 30 in Phoenix. Grrrr...

    I was actually sitting here thinking I could cancel my 1pm hearing, leave after lunch and get there in plenty of time. Then turn around and get home in time to still get a bit of sleep. WTF is wrong with me???!!!

    Great game last night, save for bringing in Dempster. He needs the Eyre treatment. Anyway, I'm sitting in the outfield box area by the RF foul pole last night, and I get a tap on the shoulder. I turn around, and it's Ronnie Woo Woo! WTF? I don't know him or anything, he was just going around shaking hands of all the folks in blue. Friend got a pic. Don't have it yet. Didn't know he was doing road trips now...
