That's nothing short of an embarrassment. Vancouver misconduct - 10 min 20:00, D. Hordichuk Vancouver roughing - 2 min 20:00, R. Johnson Vancouver misconduct - 10 min 20:00, R. Johnson St. Louis roughing - 2 min 20:00, B. Winchester Okay, apparently Blues do have a PP. But I'm going to rant anyway about something I don't understand. We've seen it in the past with the Hawks: a guy gets a misconduct and no minor. Makes no sense.

FSNMW just said Johnson and Hordichuk with 10-min misconducts, Johnson with a minor and Winchester with a minor. So they even out?

Johnson would have to go. But I'll bet they send off Hinote too. Not a terrible first period for the Blues. The young guys might be able to calm down a little now and get some chances.

I said I hoped the refs wouldn't take over the games, but tonight these guys aren't giving them much choice. That was a pretty easy call on Perron.

I've got the Blues announcers, and they just said the Blues finished with their best PP% in 16 years. They seem to go in spurts. 2-3 in a game and then nothing for a week.

Blues aren't a real good faceoff team. That may come back to hurt them.

AND ITS TURNING INTO A BLIZZARD! Haha, yeah, this is pretty funny. And awesome. Especially when it's a nancyboy like Perron doing it. Dude makes Patrick Kane look like, well, Sean Avery. Hey, they are playing the Hawks' goal song at GM Place!

That stuff has to be let go now. Both sides are trying to intimidate the other. A lot of feeling out going on right now. I expect this thing to pick up in another five minutes or so.

It really is completely different. I just hope the refs remember to swallow their whistles and let the little stuff go. In April and May, not every parallel stick is holding and every tumble isn't tripping.

I hate to say it, but I'm looking forward to this game and rooting for the Blues! Kujay you going to be posting in here during the game? Kind of a weak response from all the other hockey fans on the board for their teams... oh well. Yeah I'll be around. And it's the first round. When the Hawks weren't involved, I didn't really get into the playoffs until the second round.
