    I meant that they are playing short-handed and have been sliding badly lately.

    I was going to be nervous no matter what, but yeah, playing a team with their backs against the wall is scary.

    The Wangs announcers were pretty hot about it, but he did smack Buff's glove. I'm not saying it deserved a penalty shot, but it was a penalty. And is the WGN telecast saying what happened to Haviland after the game? FSND went away from it. Looked like someone threw a beer on him or something.

    Wild vs. Predators might be the worst hockey game of the whole season. 8-4 Wild. Go figure. And the Blues won 3-1 at home. They are likely to be destroyed by either SJ or Detroit, but still, what a story. 15th in the conference two months ago. Without Kariya, EJ and Brewer. Amazing.

    Huge night tonight. Wild vs. Predators Blues vs. Jackets Blues can clinch with a win and a Preds loss or be nearly eliminated with a loss and a Preds win. Lots of scoreboard watching at Scottrade Center tonight, I think.

    Gamecast made that look really close to a straight away CF homer. Was it close? Warning Track Radio guy made it sound like he was at the wall...I can hear the fireworks go off outside my window so I know a little before it comes over the radio but didn't get to see it. Sounds like there was a great diving play by Greene to get the first out, and then the long fly to deep center to get the last out...it got the win, but it seems like the Cards still may have bullpen issues. I used to hate those damn fireworks when I worked across from the park.

    Really? I had no idea. I love watching the Masters though. I don't know what it is, but I'll probably sit there and watch all day on Sunday.

    I can't get to youtube from work...but was it intentional? or a mis-hit that he got lucky on? I just watched the video and I couldn't tell. NBC doesn't have cameras running on Masters Wednesday?

    My sincerest apologies for daring to question you. The Hawks probably won't need that extra point by Saturday (CAL or VAN will probably lose one of their games). I'll still watch on Sunday though.

    Nope they both clinched, lol... they are both playing for nothing now. I'm not so sure -- the Hawks have 100 points right now -- Vancouver could still make 100, and if they did, they'd own the tiebreaker with 45 wins to the Hawks 44. We need to get to 101 That's what I thought. Took another look at the standings and that is correct. Even if Calgary ends up in 5th they would have the wins tiebreaker as well.

    Well, congrats to the Jackets. Did the Hawks just clinch the 4th seed with that point too? Or do they need the extra one tonight?
