    After a couple good games, Pahlsson has absolutely disappeared. And with Yarmo and Walker's problems, I sure wish we had Wiz right now.

    Bad bounce and Yarmalsson goofed. These guys are so up and down. Even within great wins, there are periods where they just look awful.

    Holy [expletive], Cubs are up 8-0. Hadn't even looked. And Kaner almost made it 2-0 there. I just got in from my backbreaking yard work. The sun went down, or I'd still be out there.

    I like the Jackets and am very happy they are (nearly) playoff bound. That said, what a pass by Campbell! And Seabrook with a beauty!

    Yeah just leave the league. I'd imagine that guy just did it for fun anyway and has no intention of keeping up with it.

    Blackhawks. It's only a few more weeks. Is there some problem with CSN+? Is it not HD? CSN+ makes no difference to me. It's still HD and better than WGN since directv doesn't get the HD version of WGN. Yep. I hate the non-HD WGNA. I understand why Directv doesn't bother to pay for the channel since they have so little HD programming, but it still sucks.

    Blackhawks. It's only a few more weeks. Is there some problem with CSN+? Is it not HD?

    Yes. The three division winners in each conference get the top three seeds, so even if the Hawks end with more points than CAL/VAN (which is likely), the NW Division winner will be 3rd and the Hawks 4th.

    I would really like to see the Hawks get the 4th seed clinched tonight. It would be terrible if everything falls so that we need Nik to play both Saturday and Sunday. Which I think Q would do at this point.

    Versus will carry a good chunk of the games. They pretty much have games every night. And yes, CSNC will carry the rest. My understanding is that Center Ice fills in the gaps and makes sure every 1st and 2nd round game is on.

    No, it wasn't anything flashy. But it's the kind of road effort they are going to need in Games 3 and 4 in a couple weeks. BTW Hawks clinched 4th seed tonight if Vancouver loses. Otherwise I think we just need 1 point in the next 3 games. Right. Vancouver is up 2-1 right now, but either way the 4th seed is nearly in the bag. Let's get it done tomorrow night at home.

    Blues are up 2-1 early in the 2nd. Looking good so far.

    No kidding, especially with their fans standing and yelling the last five minutes like they were about to win the cup. If St. Louis wins tonight they'll be lucky to make the playoffs.

    What a gritty 3rd period. They were outplayed for the first 12:00 or so minutes and then really calmed down. What an effort.

    Not to toot my own horn, but it was pretty clear the top line would knock home a few. They were just skating so well in the first. Didn't think they would blitz them like they did there. And Khabi is rounding into form just in time.

    They must be thinking about the Cubs. Everyone else appears to be. No love for Hawks thread. :( Hawks actually played really well in that period, and the Havlat-Toews-Kane line was on fire. They'll bury a few tonight.

    He didn't appear to be dogging it as much as he usually does in that situation.

    Preds are playing this game like their lives depend on it. Hawks aren't quite matching their energy but are playing well.
