    Is it because they can’t diagnose the issue that he just needs a prolonged amount of rest (like until spring training)? Or, is surgery an option and he and they are doing everything possible to avoid it?

    Quintana, Hendricks, Chatwood and Yu = TOAST. What was talked about as being a great rotation preseason by many - could not have gone worse in the regular season.

    I agree that the system is shitty from a positional player perspective - since most are in the ML roster currently. But - from a pitching standpoint, the cupboard is bare in terms of pitchers knocking on the door. There’s not many that have been produced either.

    I’d hope not. He’s still owed ~$50 million. Maybe that’s a scenario where the more the Cubs give up, the more KC eats his contract and vice versa.

    Despite being -what - 16 games over .500 - I’ve been totally negative lately - mostly about the pitching overall. I just don’t think Hendricks has it this year. He’s gonna get lit up tonight. horsefeathers.
