  1. With the unprecedented string of 9 losses - and counting - what position does the 2020 draft look like now?
  2. Trevathan’s having a nice game
  3. Just thinking the same thing.
  4. Its not Trubisky audibling. It's Nagy audibling while the audio is still live on the mic. Aka the McVay/Goff treatment. Gotcha
  5. I don’t remember Trubisky audibling as much as he has tonight. Am I wrong?
  6. That was a sweet sack by DT
  7. Why not the WS? The farm is loaded with positional and pitching talent. They have money to spend. They’ll do it by 2022. It’s not the Hawks, Bears, Bulls.
  8. I agree with this. Maddon has some fault, but this mess isn't his doing. Anything less than Theo taking primary responsibility will be unacceptable. The only thing I want to hear him address in his end of season press conference is the mistakes he has made and what he plans to do to fix them. Maddon is almost certainly gone, but it is largely due to the mistakes that have been made above him. That partially includes ownership, but mostly lies square on the shoulders of Theo. I don't want to hear him place blame on anyone else. The players have proven they are who they are, and it is Theo who bought into them being better than that. I hope Tom Ricketts is furious, and he has every right to be. But does he really care, or is he counting his money and waiting for the new network to launch (which will very likely not even be carried by some of the major content distributors, Dish Network for example)? I'm certainly not defending Ricketts, but the payroll is 35% higher than the Cardinals and 80% higher than the Brewers. Theo is not spending the money wisely when building a roster in addition to holding on to his drast picks too long. There have been batting and pitching coach changes every year without any improvement in the young hitters and no development of young pitchers. Theo with the check book is not a good idea. Save for the Lester signing, there's a long list of underperforming FA's who made bank thanks to Theo.
  9. So he’s been a member since 8/27. We’ll see how long this lasts.
  10. Baby steps. One big throw this week. Two next week. And so on. Pace needs to bitch out Nagy. They’re regressing.
  11. Don’t forget that Nagys just scratching the surface with this offense, it’s gonna take time for Mitch to learn it. What a joke.
  12. An outfield of Schwarber, Soler and Jimenez would be an insane experiment from an offensive and defensive standpoint. 120 dongs, negative WAR.
  13. Somebody loan Theo a gorilla suit. So Jed can wear it or Theo? I’m open to either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. It's 2005 all over again because Beltran or bust* *Or really someone who speaks Spanish with a ton of experience but maybe none as a manager, but I remember what happened last time they settled for the non-Beltran option when the Beltran option was probably there It’s almost time the WS fire Renteria, so maybe the Cubs can bring him back and do this thing all over again. Pretend like it never happened. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Nah we’ll still win the division but get our horsefeathers stuffed in the DS or CS I don’t see us winning the division. Bullpen aside, theres no question the Cubs are the most complete team in the division - they just suck ass on the road. Either their gonna do a 180 and start winning on the road or...start losing at home. My bet is they start losing at home. They just seem to have “it” - whatever that is.
  17. After he pulls another 0-fer tonight, they’ll squeeze the trigger and IL him. Ok, a 1-fer
  18. After he pulls another 0-fer tonight, they’ll squeeze the trigger and IL him.
  19. Hahaha!! Welcome to Wrigley, A’s.
  20. That’s awesome. Sailing on Lake Michigan in late afternoon/early evening brings a whole new perspective to the city.
  21. Got your wish You could see it coming a mile away. Struggling at the plate, Sunday day game.
  22. Ryno for sure, no doubt. 9 GG’s, MVP - the total package. Would love to see Javy pass him up in all metrics. Will have to wait and see.
