  1. Apparently Gordon is sitting out the first practice awaiting a deal before he has to sign the 1 year RFA deal of 6mil I think
  2. I think the Lions will score a few points against us. I'd say like 24-17 us, but will be up early and never look back
  3. Wait really....I know hes injury prone, but isn't he reasonably young still? word is, he just doesn't think he can go on without the helmet collision, being as that is the only kind of tackle he knows how to make. Oh I didnt see you were being sarcastic
  4. I would not be suprised if Al Davis fired Kiffen on Monday because he thought they lost over the weekend. Al Davis is so out of it that that is very possible....And the Bye week is a pretty tough opponent I wouldn't be surprised
  5. Wait really....I know hes injury prone, but isn't he reasonably young still?
  6. Wow...I hope we can at least get something for him
  7. How is Wake ranked #25 after losing to Navy....a top #25 team should not lose to Navy
  8. I know this program pretty well. As upset as I was at the time of not scoring TDs, I was feeling fine at 19-0. Talk about crap'n the bed. I don't know how you couldn't feel ok with that lead...
  9. Oh also saw Bill Wennington at Tufanos (I think that's how u spell it) Italian place near the stadium. He was trashed with a group of people
  10. Was at that game too....Beach is a big guy and he absolutely through the other guy to the ground...Also a very funny note Kane checked out my friends girlfriend we were sitting 2nd row hahaha
  11. My bad to the Wisconsin fan that said they were nervous about Michigan haha...I really did not see that coming...especially with that 19-0 lead....sorry
  12. 4 shizzle Just thought I'd throw it out there
  13. I would never, ever go with a Cowboys/Redskins game in survival football. Dallas may win by 50, but there's far too great a chance that Washington pulls out a win. The Redskins always play everyone in the division tough and there D is solid so there's always a potential of a game between those too. I wouldn't pick them either
  14. Why not him over McLouth though? Maybe Granderson wants to get out of Detriot
  15. My friend was talking about the other day...He said he's positive Kenny Williams is going to get him in the off season. Is he a free agent? Wouldn't the North Siders be in the running for him? Also probably the darn Yanks?
  16. Buffalo over St. Louis San Diego over Oakland Denver over Kansas City Those three all look pretty safe to me. I'd say Jacksonville at Houston to...I know Jacksonville hasn't been what we thought they'd be, but Houston's offense is just abysmal no way... jacksonville always loses to houston for some reason. also, denver has always had a hard time winning at kansas city, buffalo needed a last-second field goal to beat oakland at home last week, and san diego is still, as far as i can tell, coached by norv turner. i went with carolina over atlanta. I see all your points, but I wouldn't consider Carolina a lock over Atlanta
  17. if it makes you feel better, your offense sucked anyway. That rarely matters against Purdue. No TE's limits what we can do severely. I should be a good game....I'm guessing Purdue wins 24-17...but Purdue is so inconsistent it should be a competitive game; i'm not sure that it will be a good game considering that notre dame and purdue are the two teams playing. Ha believe me bud I went to Purdue and I don't think either one of these teams are good.
  18. Buffalo over St. Louis San Diego over Oakland Denver over Kansas City Those three all look pretty safe to me. I'd say Jacksonville at Houston to...I know Jacksonville hasn't been what we thought they'd be, but Houston's offense is just abysmal Houston has the potential to be pretty solid offensively though. Schaub's a good QB and he has an elite weapon in Andre Johnson. I was also impressed with Steve Slaton. Schaub struggles with staying composed in a pass rush, though, and that will ultimately be the Texans' downfall Sunday. St. Louis, Oakland and KC are just downright bad, though. Agreed...And Jacksonville has one of the best so for at least another week that Texans offense is going to struggle still Slaton could have a big day against Jacksonville's pass rush. The Jags aren't the fastest defense out there, and if Slaton has a big day the Texans could threaten for a win. He could, but personally I'm still not convinced he'll be that good. I really didn't even think he'd be playing I thought id be Garrett Wolfe esque . He's a little guy and played in a system with a great QB. Who knows though he could be legit and he'll run all over the Jag's D like you said 116 yards and a touchdown against a faster Titan defense bodes well for him. I was a bit skeptical myself, but he looked good against the Titans. I don't think he'll be a star, but he's got a shot at being a fast, complement back. Yeah Agreed and probably true

  23. Nice. I'm not a big fan of the "skybox" experience. Seems too detached for me. But for a preseason game, that's perfect. Buff seems like a real down-to-earth kind of guy. Here's hoping he keeps some of his scoring touch from last year. That guys a beast buy the way. My friend whos playin in the AHL now is like 5' 9" and is a center, but Buf was easily 6' 3" and jacked
  24. Went to the game last night...My friend is playing in the AHL this year and is friends with Byfugilen....So we got sky box seats and him and Toews weren't playing so they both came down and we were talking to him Dustin, Toews was standing off to the size. It was pretty sweet!
  25. Oh yeah my bad....That should be a great match up though...We literally match up the same defensive minded teams that can shoot and are kind of undersized
