  1. He actually did have some hamstring issues last year. James Harden would be a perfect compliment to Derrick Rose and I'm not just saying that because he's the best basketball player to ever play for ASU. He is going to be a legitimate star. His strength/athleticism/body control is awesome. And he has an awesome beard. Can he play D unlike Gordon? I don't think he'll ever be anything great defensively. He's 6'5, really strong, has long arms but has average speed. He'd never be a lock down guy, especially against top shooting guards. So let me rephrase that can he play D better than the Matador Ben Gordon? Yeah and more importantly has the size to actually body up on a two offensively and defensively. Having a 2 that can work a pick and roll with Rose would be a great weapon as opposed to just shooting long jumpers. Yeah definitely....With Rose right now Gordon really makes no sense with him he's to small and all he can do is shoot(sometimes) I actually don't mind Gordon with Rose. But they still need a big guard. Gordon should be a compliment and be a guy that can shoot the ball and open up the lane for Rose and a good 2G to create. Yeah Gordon is good to be a bench player who can shoot, but he shouldn't be in there for an extended period of time....Unless he semi learns how to play defense which he still hasn't yet
  2. Is there goalie that bad? 13-1 in the two games?
  3. We were playing with out Hummel and Kramer, but regardless we still should have won that game and yes it would be horribly pathetic if we don't make it
  4. Don't know if someone posted this already, but I didn't see it in the first 2 pages, but: http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/ Scioscia Signs Extension By Tim Dierkes [January 6 at 4:06pm CST] TUESDAY, 4:06pm: This is getting crazy...MLB.com's Lyle Spencer says Scioscia's extension runs through 2018. MONDAY, 10:35pm: Now DiGiovanna says it runs through at least 2015. 6:55pm: Mike DiGiovanna of the L.A. Times says Scioscia's extension runs through at least the 2014 season. 3:05pm: According to Yahoo's Tim Brown, Angels manager Mike Scioscia signed a multiyear extension that will run through at least 2012. Good god
  5. Why is this game on tonight. This is a crap game that should have been played before Jan. 2. Playing on New Year's Day used to actually mean something. Its like the Tuesday night games. This game being played between two of the biggest bowls games makes absolutely no sense...Good luck Ball State though I'm routing for ya
  6. I don't know that I agree with that. I don't think JSC is significantly worse than Tait, if at all. JSC is a better run blocker at this point. Tait is probably a better pass blocker, but JSC faced much better pass rushing ends on a consistent basis. Factor in Tait being a year older next year, and I think St Clair is the better OL going forward. I don't want either starting at RT, but JSC is clearly the better backup, because of his versatility. Oh yeah, and Jordan Gross would be a no brainer if you are going to spend some money this offseason. I'd probably play him at LT and move Williams to RT. Gross has been a pretty good LT for a few years, moving him to RT would be a waste of his ability, whereas you don't know if Williams can play LT effectively or not. I Wouldn't mind us signing Gross and adding a receiver or defensive end in the first of the drarft

  8. Hendry got creamed for signing that deal, and even though Marquis is still slighty overpaid. This deal actually worked out quite well for us, and better then anyone would have probably expected. Marquis ended up going 23-18 with a 4.43 era in 61 starts. He was a strong 4-5 starter, and helped get us into the playoffs for two years. But I don't have any problem trading him, because the Cubs now have younger and cheaper options who can do what he does. Yeah putting Marshall/Gaudin/Shark in there wouldn't be the end of the world...Also like I said before I'd be in support of Sheets for one year and if he gets hurt one of those 3 step in
  9. is english your third language? Yeah French and Portuguese are first and second
  10. So they save $4.875 on this one, but are down one starter and up one more mediocre reliever. Exactly. Marquis has never been lights out, but I have a feeling fans will regret this trade later this season. I am going to wait to see who the 5th starter is and how he does before I will see if I may regret the trade. I don't see us regretting trading Marquis at all, plus 5m is alot to save and will to more then half of Bradley salary. I still think we will add another starter, but even if they don't. Chad Gaudin or Sean Marshall can both do what Marquis does. Vizcaino isn't great, but he still has good stuff. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he has a decent year next season and is a solid 6-7 inning reliever for us. There is a small possibility that he could be a decent 6-7inning relieve, but a decent 6-7inning reliever who costs that much isn't worth it
  11. Probably cause they looked horrible in the bowl game and he has some big name backs against in the draft this year I like McCoy more than Beanie Wells. He's a first round running back in the 09 draft and is still returning for his junior year. With the way it goes for RBs, I don't know why he's returning. Maybe he cares about academics? ha jk :rotfl:....Like I said that would be the only the thing that makes sense to me...in scouts minds though the risk of an injury won't help him
  12. yeah Marquis To Rockies Deal Finalized By Ben Jones [January 6 at 3:21pm CST] TUESDAY, 3:21pm: The Marquis for Vizcaino swap has been finalized.
  13. Wow shes a 9.5 in my book.....Also does anyone remember Brady Quinn's butt ugly gf he brought with him to the draft? You mean Quinn's sister and AJ Hawk's wife? Well Quinn's gf was better than his sister ha that's not even close, but the girl he brought with to the draft...she was a blonde, but eek to be bring on national television

  15. Probably cause they looked horrible in the bowl game and he has some big name backs against in the draft this year Yeah but he's just going to get another year of mileage added to him at Pitt. I don't think it's a good move for McCoy. On a scouts perspective probably so and in his mind he's probably thinking what I thought
  16. I do it was a little kid Ohhh, look at Mr. High Road here. :) ha :beee:

  18. You're right. Being the best running back in the country is meaningless. Remember, like you said no national champion in the last 10 years has had a 1,000 yard rusher. Wait, how many times did you backtrack on that? It's much more impressive to throw slip screens 1-yard in front of the line of scrimmage (or 8 yard ducks to guys who are fass) all year than it is to be the guy to stop on an offense and still get over 6 yards per carry and 100 yards every week. Dude were not saying based on his numbers he had an amazing year...heisman is not decided by just players numbers it's based on the [expletive] media, There team being one of the top ranked teams, Then the numbers you can be pretty sure meph is talking about the numbers Well than it just doesn't make sense to say what he said

  20. Thats what I don't get from all the Iowa fans....you guys do realize that Heisman's go to players who are playing for teams that are ranked at the end of the year at the very least? He had a great year hell an amazing year, but that's not all that's factored in It should be all that's factored in. It's a joke of an award anyway, I was just surprised I never saw his name mentioned. Well I agree, but that's the reason it wasn't
  21. You're going to eat those words when the Bulls leave the NBA and enter the professional indoor volleyball circuit. lol :rotfl:
  22. It's not always fair, but people new he was freshman and wouldn't win it

The long arms would probably help, but there's no chance we'd have a shot at him unless the lottery helps us out again
