    I'm more for a collective boo against the whole team, because of the ways they've lost ball games these last four days. Maybe it will wake them up.

    Z is a good ace the same way Harang is a good ace. In that he is better than everybody else on a very bad pitching staff. Look at Zambrano's ERA the last couple of years. Nowhere CLOSE to stellar. And his huge BB rate is a concern for a guy you are prepared to pay $90 million dollars to for 5 years. I think it's best he IS traded for something really good or a bundle of highly touted major league ready prospects. This is where not going all out on Matsuzaka is looking bad. We now have Lilly and Marquis, neither of them are above a "#3 calibur guy". If we had Matsuzaka, and traded Z for someone like A-rod. Well atleast you have Hill and Matsuzaka to cement the top of the rotation. Now, you only have Hill.

    I think the reason we don't throw as many innings and get injured is that the human race as a whole is getting weaker and more diseased. And I conspire that the government made it so, so we would have to buy more medicine and make them all richer. :lol: :roll:

    Jones got Booed and look at the year he had. Didn't seem to make him any worse. Calling names and racial slurs is unaccepted. But booing, I don't care. Go right ahead. The best thing to happen is piniella has a tantrum in the dugout today and the fans boo the team taking the feild with a loud long boo until the first out is recorded.

    2008 hoping to dump all overexpensive crap and hoping youngsters like Pie, Veal, and Patterson are good and merge well with this team and make it an actual team with chemistry, because this one sucks. . . . . thread. :)

    That was a huge mistake. Lou putting Ohman in. Wrong pitcher. Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb. You put your best pitcher in in that situation. And that's Weurtz.

    All I know is GET JONES outta the #2 spot! He is not producing at all!! It's fine if Lou wants "2 lefties" in the line-up. But Get Jones outta #2! He just doesn't seem to be getting on base very much and that's more important in the #2 than what jones is (a decent slugger who will hit some HR).

    Man, I was interested in this but got dissapointed. The bounty wasn't very harsh. Only one week? Couldn't it have been more risk, like 3 months atleast?

    Hill wasn't completely skipped. They're just keeping Z on his usual 4-days rest at all times. Z Friday, Hill Saturday. That's great. whew!

    Sorry if this has been asked and answered already but. . How does the rotation pan out now? Did we essentially just "skip" Hill? If so I think that sucks for us. Because he's almost as close to a guarantee'd win on this club, not to Zambrano. Maybe even more than big Z.

    It's this stuff that OFFICIALLY pisses me off. Great. Now we get 2 off-days, and they probably rescheduled it during a long game streak with no breaks. It should have been rescheduled for tommorow. End of story. This is stupid excecutive baseball. It was added to the end of the All Star Break so instead of 4 day ASB, they get 3 days off. That's not so bad. I just have a thing against too many off days in the first half of the season, as opposed to getting more rest during the stretch run.

    If by destroy, you mean destroy his minor league carreer, by making him the best baseball player who ever lived. Then yes. :P

    I found this one the most shocking. As it seems they've grounded out into alot of them already. So you're saying they did it even MORE frequently last year? Wow. :cry:

    If baseball was smart, sure. But I've seen so many convenient times get bypassed only to play a double header in the midst of a 14 game streak with no off-days.

    The only problem is it's not lake effect. There's a system moving into Chicago from the west. I don't think there are any big lakes to the west of Chicago. :wink: Lake Pacific ocean?
