    He's averaging 34 minutes. Before last night you have to go back to 1/29 when he last played at least 40 minutes. He's played 40 or more minutes a grand total of 6 times this season. 31, 33, 35, 32, 33, 33, 35, 29, 32, 31, 26, 32, 38, 37, 34, and 36 are his minutes going back to the last time he had 40 or more.

    I remember reading stuff about how he had done alright investment-wise after his playing days and had made a few million. Guess that didn't go as well as reported.

    That's why I think it just wasn't realistic from a working with the White Sox ownership standpoint; logistically it just makes a lot more sense than Milwaukee. Milwaukee has the roof and a ton of Cubs fans to sell tickets, but you'd be a lock to sell more at the Cell. My guess is that if there was any talk across town it quickly evaporated due to revenue discussions.

    Yes, I was mildly surprised that something I thought had just been speculated about was actually pursued by the Cubs. I know now to not used such raging hyperbole around you in the future.

    I thought the idea of moving elsewhere for a season wasn't anything more than idle speculation. Damn. I'm pretty sure we heard they discussed it previously. This isn't that crazy. Who said it was "crazy?" I just didn't remember anything indicating the Cubs had actually looked into it or talked to the Brewers, that's all.
