  1. Fielders are also hitters. Pitchers are not also hitters. It's really very simple.
  2. didn't take long for that honeymoon to end It was a sordid shotgun wedding to begin with.
  3. Let's all chuckle at how Montero loses playing time to David [expletive] Ross.
  4. Hey, pitchers, stop working on the only thing that makes you valuable as a professional baseball player and spend time working on that thing you're always going to be terrible at that only weird old guys with pants up to their nipples (and weirdos who can't wait to be weird old guys with pants up to their nipples) love seeing you do.
  5. Why stop there? Start having catchers practice playing CF. Or hell, ban managers from being able to pinch hit for relievers. Mmmmm, yeah, that's some real terribly hitting goodness. Thank God the DH is inevitable.
  6. You filthy animals willed Soler to suck with your hatred and fear. Why must you always destroy anything that is beautiful.
  7. Why the hell would you want that? You don't get a bye in the playoffs for beating a team at their best. It's not career threatening, he's going to get his money and be fine. He's had a ton of success, they've had a ton of success with and without him. That whole "you never wish injury on anyone" stuff is nonsense for people who want to try to show how "classy" they are. I hope he loses the leg.
  8. Best to just assume that Ramirez is like ET dying in that government bubble.
  9. Noah hasn't been much scoring-wise all season; he's only averaged 7 points all season and just 5 points over the last 10 games (4.5 in the postseason). Last night was the first time in this series where he faltered. Game 1: 6 points, 3 steals, 1 block, 4 assists, 11 rebounds Game 2: 6 points, 1 block, 5 assists, 19 rebounds Game 3: 2 points, 2 steals, 1 block, 5 assists, 12 rebounds. Maybe need to add another alarm. The Bucks are an excellent defensive team and really finally turned that on for a game a half and managed to eke out a win when Rose and Noah stunk it up for most of a game and the Bulls were turning it over left and right. Noah's not some kind of liability out there.
  10. Get outta here with your weird laws of robotics.
  11. Maybe he means that after 6 years if they don't pay him he breaks their legs.
  12. NEVER. I hate relievers like I hate catchers.
  13. I don't think I've actually seen him pitch yet this year. He probably isn't real.
  14. Thibs is so stubborn when I'm sure he has access to stats like this and still tries to keep Jo in there when he was absolutely terrible Yeah, that too. I love Noah an insane amount, but he was hideous this game and hasn't done much all series. 5 alarm scorching hot take.
  15. Even at the best of times relievers are degenerate scum who are not to be trusted. Suck the life from him and toss his husk on the heap with the rest.
  16. You'd think he would have wanted a contract that paid him sooner.
  17. I'd say I wish this drove him to drink, but...y'know.
  18. I did a zip code search of weather for where I was golfing yesterday and there was 0% precip from 6am to 2pm yesterday. It rained from 6am to noon. NEVER trust/believe people/things who/that report/declare weather. OH SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Shots fired, son.
  19. [expletive], that's pretty bold; few people are worth Ryan Sweeney-money.
  20. Because they suck, the Angels will likely pay for most of it, and it's a meatball-pleasin' kinda PR move.
  21. What? That's the best kind of first round; get it over with quickly and cast off the dead weight and get to the good [expletive].
  22. I could see that, ok lets say Russell is doing well too and both kids justify playing everyday in the show. What do you do at that point assuming we are still contending come June? you obviously put Bryant in LF Yeah, that's the obvious easy solution.
  23. If Baez somehow comes back from the brink I could see them doing a Baez/Russell swap unless Russel is just killing it.
