I doubt they'd be that stupidly stubborn; that only serves to undercut leverage if they try to move any of these guys. They can easily fit all of these guys in the lineup.

So take 5 seconds and look up his numbers. i have looked them up before seems streaky good year then soso then bad then good. He was a 1.8 WAR player his rookie season, then 2.8, 3.1, -0.1 and then 2.7. He's a productive, very affordable player going through a rough patch. Sending him down would be stupid and trading him now would be selling low. Just move him down in the lineup and work him through it. If they want to move Baez up just kick Coghlan out of the lineup.
