    The Pirate are 10-3 in June. The Cubs are 8-5. What are you babbling about. Well, the Pirates have won 18 of 23 This is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen posted here. How so? I'd call that a "tear." While the Cubs have been playing good baseball, they haven't been clipping at that ridiculous pace. The guy was talking like the the Pirates are just going nuts right now, when the reality is that in the current month up to today the two teams aren't playing that far off at all. What I'm saying is that my arbitrary sample size was way less strange than yours.

    The White Sox are terrible, so they're not lying down for anyone; they just stink. Jake Arrietta has been pitching awesome this year, so I have no idea what the cartoon weirdo is talking about. Schwarber is still lurking to save the day, so you can all shut the hell up.

    And he didn't throw over at all last year. And 7 times the year before and 5 times the year before that. I remember watching at least a couple nationally broadcasted games where he was starting over the last couple of years where the announcers or the reporter talking about him not being "comfortable" throwing over, so I highly doubt this was a thing teams didn't realize. Again, I'm not saying overall he doesn't stink at it, but is it really a serious problem as opposed to mostly just being a problem with Billy Hamilton? If Hamilton doesn't exist are we even discussing this? The idea that it was a forgone conclusion that whatever team had to sign him would also have to sign Ross bugs me a lot more. What storied history do these guys have? Before this year they played, what, two seasons together over the years?

    Such is the life of a mop up man. Every bullpen has one. And there's no indication that German or Medina would be any better. The main gripe is that people would prefer the awful they don't know to the awful they do. No, the main gripe is that he stinks and the Cubs have been rolling with too many relievers.
