  1. WHAT NO WAY GET OUTTA DOWN I DON'T BELIEVE IT Jason Marquis wasn't bad in 2008. Teams beat good pitchers all of the time. Why are you so sad all of the damn time.
  2. I'm not gonna lie; imb's description made just kind of assume that this guy grabbed a pallet full of milk cartons and then just flung it into the air like the Hulk using his special strength. Now I feel pretty terrible.
  3. Ugh, they were BOTH trudging a filthy city in sandals. People, please stop doing this. You're slowly killing me.
  4. Not only that, he tempted fate by standing in that [expletive] skydeck. [expletive] THAT THING.
  5. How can someone take so long to say so little.
  6. That's like saying since Melky Cabrera went 5 for 5 today, we can ignore how bad he's been all year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk But that's largely the nature of relief pitchers; "shutdown" relievers aren't going to be available for anything less than a haul. Between Ramirez and Soriano and a lot of the guys currently pitching seemingly leveling out there doesn't seem much of a need to overpay like that.
  7. Hasn't everyone been pretty shutdown lately?
  8. *Deadlegs Kyle while imb is talking* *Steals his Capri Sun and sprays it in his face*
  9. Yeah, but then they wouldn't have gotten Bryant.
  10. How the hell is McMichael not dead.
  11. Fowler's baby daughter enjoys his grand slam: http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/eye-on-baseball/25221251/watch-dexter-fowlers-daughter-is-excited-about-his-grand-slam
  12. Wait, you want them to address the back of the rotation by getting an elite starter? Or you want them to address the back of the rotation AND get an elite starter? I wouldn't be opposed to either, but both scenarios could easily be overkill.
  13. Nothing seems too egregious in regards to his usage this year: http://www.baseballprospectus.com/sortable/index.php?cid=1819111 It's all good.
  14. Until Schwarber comes up, the catcher's spot is a great time to take a leak, too.
  15. Oh my God, he is the biggest dork in the world. This is adorable.
  16. Oh man, he so leaned into that.
  17. I had to look up Kevin Foster and ended up on Kevin Foster the murderer, who basically looks like keener and Kyle mashed together.
  18. Imagine if it was written by Brett.
  19. When you have a guy hitting like a god in Sosa it goes a long way. A couple other good hitters and then a bunch of OK guys. That team was a lot of fun.
  20. I'm totally cool if they keep rotating it this season.
  21. That right; I forgot he wasn't closing then. Those were the days of Wood.
  22. He's been getting big hits like that all season; it sadly hasn't done much to his game otherwise.
