Good God, it was humongous. I should have said I would have used it as a bed. Over 7 feet long, and it had a microphone/speaker system?!? Holy [expletive], I might just make it my coffee table. And the insane part was it was only $110 when it was released in 1985. Adjusting for inflation today that would, I think, only be about $250. That seems insane.

Yep, it has nothing to do with 2 successful bunt hits and nearly a 3rd in the late innings last night. Fortunately, the wind is supposed to be howling out and I think our dongs will prevail. Boy, yeah, that tried and true tradition of easily maintaining what worked in one game; "we got a couple of bunt hits the game before, so let's just keep doing that!" Ranks right up there with, "hey, that guy should just keep hitting away from the shift" and "let's just hit some more home runs!" To be fair, this is why we've scored like 5 runs/game the past month. Well, to be even more fair, the Cubs are hitting dongs, not home runs. -
My only concern is losing 1.5 games to the Pirates and Giants over the last 3 days. I love how certain Cubs fans are convinced that every Lester start is going to degenerate into nothing but bunts and stolen bases and hit and runs because he's just oh-so-vulnerable to anything that happens in the infield...and then it never does.

Hahahahah, yup. 3 behind the Pirates is this impossible hurdle, but the Giants being 3 games behind the Cubs is, of course, no problem for them.
