  1. 1 game playoff Yes, that is part of the postseason they will cruise into.
  2. If they had actually picked up a non-disastrous starting pitcher I'd think they'd be invincible. As it stands they are merely nigh-invincible.
  3. I'll see names like Bogusevic and be like "oh yeah, I forgot he played for the Cubs," but I literally have no idea who Boscan is and not the faintest recollection of him ever existing. I refuse to believe that Boscan is a real person. That sounds like a name made up on the spot for a fake girlfriend or something.
  4. That Soler home run made me [expletive] giddy. Cruise into the postseason with a fixed Castro and a reborn Soler AND Baez and watch the scum topple over.
  5. Shocking on both accounts. "hey everybody i was going to say something patently wrong, but then i looked it up and realized how completely wrong i would have been" Which, to be fair, actually puts him up on Rondon Fan. Is anyone else's MLB.tv feed absolute garbage tonight?
  6. Is that Zouks back there?
  7. Police release composite photo of the suspect: http://www.wrjphoto.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/rob-ford.-A-classy-guy.jpg
  8. I pledged to the baseball gods that I would never badmouth La Stella again if he got a run in with the bases loaded yesterday. Those same baseball gods then turned around and crushed a bases loaded, no outs opportunity to tie the game. Do I really owe them anything?
  9. Kendall Fuller I know he's more talented but I really don't want another Fuller on this team. Give me Bosa. For [expletive]'s sake.
  10. Hah! The Bears are so bad they've already driven someone to madness after only two weeks. Pretty impressive.
  11. http://gifrific.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Magneto-Evil-Laugh-X-Men.gif
  12. The Cardinals have a giant horseshoe up their asses and have a history of drunken murderers. Sounds like bragging.
  13. Though he did slide VERY late. I don't think it was intentional; just a bad slide.
  14. He didn't do anything different than what Coghlan did Holy [expletive]. What? He slid in hard to break up the double play and apologized to Russell pretty much a second after it happened. And the Cubs didn't have any problem with it. What am I missing here? http://cdn.niketalk.com/1/1a/900x900px-LL-1a7b1191_whoosh.gif

  17. Perfectly reasonable. I think I suffered some kind of face blindness when that Berry person came into the game. Was he even real? didn't you see his magical baserunning in pittsburgh the other night? Which night?
  18. [expletive], I wish they were wearing those throwbacks again. Whomp these meat puppets.

  20. Same here. We got into too big of a hole earlier in the season. We've been busting our asses, trying to gain ground. Valiant effort, but too short. You piece of [expletive] rednecks can have the division this year. But that's it. We are coming for that [expletive] next season and you aren't getting it back. And we are going to stomp your asses in the playoffs. Prepare to have dongs rained upon you. Man, I loved today. I get to watch so few of the games, and I love how invested I was in this, how even after the first inning I knew at the very least they were going to be in it. Everything was just so amped up and intense and it meant something; it [expletive] felt like playoff baseball. It's awesome to be watching REAL [expletive] BASEBALL again. this is a dangerous game, but . . . how many cubs games have you watched this year? well he doesn't live in the area and doesn't appear to have mlb.tv, so probably not that many edit - nm, he does stream games but i got confused because he kept referencing gameday lately I did get MLB.TV when they did their Father's Day deal, but with Sunday-Tuesday being my days off and my work schedule being noon-10:30 PM it just kills my chances to watch unless they're on a national broadcast. Though I might be moving to something new where I could stream at work, so fingers crossed.

Probably only around 40-50; my schedule is [expletive] for catching them live and I can't stream at work, sadly.
