    Why would the season be a long grind instead of just another enjoyable season? My dad was at the game and I called him today and all he kept going on about was the "long haul of the regular season," like only this season could be fun and the rest will just be a slog until they win it all.

    Castro just lined a ball 110 mph right at a defender while you were typing this. I was staring down the LF line when he hit that and literally jumped out of my seat. That was a base-clearer. He looked great in the playoffs. I posted in last night, but as at work and literally fell backwards out of my chair starting to cheer when the ball left the bat. I was convinced for that split-second they were going to be right back in the game. That moment was easily the most spirit-crushing for me by far. Then the added cherry later of him just barely missing the home run to LF.
