The average fan probably doesn't know much outside of 1908, 1945 and 2016. Hanging flags for 1918, 1929, etc. would be historically accurate, but most fans probably wouldn't know why they were there Yeah, it's REAL baffling to see flags with years on them next to the other flags with years on them from when they won pennants.

Yeah, though I still happily rock the Prior one from time to time when I go to a game. Until 2016, few things have brought me more joy as a Cubs fan than how amazing he was in his rookie season. his second season was way more amazing I didn't remember he had gotten that many starts in 2002.

Same. I remember trying to decide between a Prior and Aramis Ramirez jersey. I thought Prior was a safer pick. Yeah, though I still happily rock the Prior one from time to time when I go to a game. Until 2016, few things have brought me more joy as a Cubs fan than how amazing he was in his rookie season.
