The brace thing is interesting; I wonder how much they could throw off someone not used to wearing one. I'd have to imagine quite a bit, especially if you can't stop focusing on it. -
Followup fun fact: a roommate of mine grew up with two of his closest friends being the bassist for The Bravery and the bassist for Good Charlotte. That's kind of impressively terrible. weren't you the guy who knew the girl with the weird john mayer story, or am i thinking of another poster? Nope, that was me; she was dating alterna soft-rock never was Howie Day at the time, and Day and Mayer were nobodies playing shows together and she says that on the regular Mayer would come back to the dressing room where she was waiting after performing and would just sit or lay down on the ground and just stare at her in silence until someone else came into the room.

Fun ska fact: Remember the mostly forgettable early aughts band The Bravery? Well, some of their members had previously been in an even WORSE band. That band? A ska band. A ska band named...SKABBA THE HUTT.
