Quintana has maintained a steady 1.4+ WHIP all year to go along with the following monthly FIP/xFIP #'s: 4.25/4.33 4.66/4.33 4.72/4.26 5.21/5.31(!!!!) I do not get the idea that he's been decent since May, or solid all year. He's been decidedly mediocre all season. Yeah, his ONE start so far in August was good, but come on.
