Today has all the makings of a '18 Hendricks Special: go 5-6 innings, giving up 3 runs and netting a half dozen k's so that at first glance it looks like a plain ol' QS and that he's not That Bad, despite having put his team down right away yet again and basically pitching from back on his heels the entire time. Like, it's not bad, but it's really not good, either, especially when that's really what he's showing is his realistic best case scenario.
