I seem to recall that NSBB was pretty split over Theriot for a while. Plenty of people thought he was a raging goober (that's good), but a surprising number wanted him to keep getting playing time (that's bad). And even the former didn't do themselves any favors by tending to be initially wanting Ronny Cedeno instead of Theriot (that's really bad).

The amount of Theriot apparel I still see at games is obscene, and is one of the better arguments that this team deserves bad things to happen to it. Boy, Hollandsworth played a LOT less for the Cubs than I remember being furious over.

i rarely ever get one but got a lengthy one recently that said i should ignore this poster's posts and that i'm dumb. fred did PM me once when my location was "Pirate Country" and asked if I wanted to catch the Cubs @ Pirates game with him. I guess the board crash deleted that one : ( i had so many good ones from back pre-crash when the board was hopping with crazies. Goddman, you aren't kidding. Though sulley tried to singlehandedly keep it going for a while.

To be fair, I do get messages all the time about how I'm actually usually right and really good looking, and people are just afraid to agree with me and admire my handsome bravery in standing up for the silent masses, so this guy might be on to something.
