  1. Lucky to get any better if he keeps being penciled in as the #8 hitter.
  2. Way to jinx it! I FEAR NO JINX. Wow, I had no idea Dempster had such horrible tattoos. And were those completely uneven sized arms or was the camera angle just funky? Yeah, I really just want Dempster to never appear with those guns unleashed ever again.

  4. And no, it's not to 312Sports.com.
  5. Why is there such a decline in interest here, but not other sites? Where did everyone go?I doubt people who are still on here would know that. Exactly.
  6. Realistic shot for the Cubs to get the sweep if Lee keeps hitting and with Gorz and Lilly going back to back. The Dodgers have been hot, but they're one of the worst teams against LH starters.
  7. Hopefully nobody since this was his May 2009 line: .313 .403 .552 .955 Yes, he sucked at the start of 2009, but he was already beating up the ball by this time last year. He also showed consistent improvement from month to month last year whereas going into tonight Lee's May was actually been WORSE than his April. I think he'll hit better, but he's really not looking much like he did last year. That said, May has been his weakest month by far over his career (.249 .321 .420 .741), so he's essentially due to pick it up from here on out.
  8. Marmol is beast. That was a fun win.
  9. Yep, wasn't it against the Dodgers that Lee broke his wrist on a similar play? That was when Lee was trying to field a ball shuttled to him from Eyre and Furcal just barreled right into Lee. FUKULEAP!
  10. Yeah. Len was talking about that was going to be finally snapped tonight right as Castro got on base due to the error.
  11. Huh. Soriano seems to have gained some clout with the Wrigley meatheads. Absolutely horrible night for him at the plate and yet no boos. PROGRESS.
  12. 2-run oppo field HR for those not following the game somewhere else.
  13. Hahahahahaah! Castro has to get on base.
  14. It's a little bit of joy watching Castro make those throws look as easy as they should be. Y'know, for an actual SS.
  15. Nice night for Lee: walk, double, RBI single.
  16. But if they didn't raise prices it was going to impact the owners' ability to both put a team worth watching on the field and fixing up the desperately dumpy Wrigley Field.
  17. All of the above.
  18. Yeah, Geovany hits so much better when he's higher in the lineup....... 19. Soto sucks again, and I can't help but think that being banished to the end of the lineup isn't helping matters.
