I'd offer him a much smaller reliever-based extension and then tell him he was going to start after he had already accepted it (not that I think starting Marshall is a very good idea). -
I put the emphasis on trolling. Agreed. He's always one of the first guys on this forum to start crap with other posters if they don't agree with his point of view. Been saying this for years. Guh? How could the firing of Hendry be an argument for tampering? Are they saying they think that Hendry was fired, but then kept on as a smokescreen to cover negotiations/talks with Epstein? Hey, that's great. Where's the proof?

I think you underestimate the stupidity and insanity of the Boston fan base. Chicago has its idiots, NY is incredibly demanding. But Boston has all the idiocy of Chicago plus the demands of NY. Yeah, you've got stupid fans and sports media here, but it's a distant 3rd behind NY and Boston.

Trust me it is. But according the Cardinal fans he is cheering for the Brewers and you can tell on how he is calling it. Also, Matt Holliday just hit a routine fly ball that the wind carried out for a home run, Holliday didn't even know where the ball was when he hit it. I finally found out why all Cub fan's get frustrating playing the Cardinals. How can a team catch every single break? I don't know but this is what they do. I'm glad someone else is finally understanding what we go through :) What the funk.

Keep in mind, this was back when Eckstein was undervalued, prior to 2002. I was thinking it was stupid, then I looked it up and Eckstein gave them 6.6 WAR his first two years while he was cheap. Yeah, Eckstein had his value with both the Angels and the Cardinals. The annoying thing was the FJM targets who overvalued him, and usually for the wrong reasons.
