  1. Aaaaaaaahahahahahahahahaaaaah!!! As Theriot giveth, so does he taketh away.
  2. Edmonds looked like the ultimate oily douche.
  3. They can have Vitters and Baker and a hearty handshake.
  4. I was once reprimanded for a slightly altered version of this pic. Sadly, yes. That was quite the work of art.
  5. Trust me it is. But according the Cardinal fans he is cheering for the Brewers and you can tell on how he is calling it. Also, Matt Holliday just hit a routine fly ball that the wind carried out for a home run, Holliday didn't even know where the ball was when he hit it. I finally found out why all Cub fan's get frustrating playing the Cardinals. How can a team catch every single break? I don't know but this is what they do. I'm glad someone else is finally understanding what we go through :) What the funk.

  7. I can't believe anyone thinks it doesn't happen. Be Fonzies, people.
  8. RIDDLIN SON. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNKI7VNCdcg
  9. DUDE, COME ON. Share. Why would you think anyone wouldn't want to see ridiculous pictures of Edmonds?
  10. Keep in mind, this was back when Eckstein was undervalued, prior to 2002. I was thinking it was stupid, then I looked it up and Eckstein gave them 6.6 WAR his first two years while he was cheap. Yeah, Eckstein had his value with both the Angels and the Cardinals. The annoying thing was the FJM targets who overvalued him, and usually for the wrong reasons.
  11. Tadd Walkah Czar Lovah with tatoos planted on his a**hole Hahahahahaah! Bueno.
  12. Todd Walker: czar-lover.
  13. I think we all get what Soriano is. So you think given the choice, the Red Sox would prefer just to keep the flawed, aging, declining baseball player they already have, and that their entire fanbase seems to despise, versus giving that whole change of scenery thing a chance with a guy that, incidentally, plugs a hole in their lineup and saves them from committing *another* $30M or whatever it would take to re-sign Ortiz. As per usual, it's not an either/or proposition. I think they'd prefer a different bad contract swap in regards to Lackey, and I think, yes, they'd rather either re-sign Ortiz or even go after someone like Fielder. Or a different option at DH. There's a lot of different choices than what you suggest above.
  14. What kind of monster gives a flying [expletive] about Edmonds over Aramis? A MONSTER THAT NEEDS TO BE HUNTED DOWN AND DISPLAYED IN A MUSEUM.
  15. I assume this is Non-Edmonds category? [expletive] Edmonds. Funny side note, my buddy ran into him last night at the Cards game. He was being a total douche because he didn't want to deal with any fans, even though he considers himself a Cardinal still. What a turd. MORE DETAILS, DAMMIT. And please tell me there are pictures.
  16. Gotta love politics. Eh, I bet even Daley would have been on board after a development like this. A successful Cubs team means more money for the city, and the planned developments that they want to get done would just help maximize that money.
  17. I assume this is Non-Edmonds category? [expletive] Edmonds.
  18. I'm not saying I wouldn't do the swap; I just don't think it would happen in the first place. With most bad contract swaps each side can usually justify to themselves what they're getting in return (even if it is usually mistaken or overly generous). I just don't see that in Soriano. It's not like he's a headcase or someone that potentially needs a change of scenery; he's just a flawed, aging, declining baseball player.
  19. Yeah, if Ramirez was a middling earner throughout his career I would assume he would do what he could to cash out. He was making $6m at at 26 and has made at least $100m so far in his career. He's going to make a lot next year regardless of what kind of deal he signs, and he's given every indication that he's the type of guy that would like to a) play for the Cubs, b) play for a winning Cubs team, c) walk away when he's washed up, and d) accept a shorter term deal than the biggest one he could get. Sure, the strictly financial decision is going to mean he's gone, but assuming Theo wants him around, I'm guessing he can sell Ramirez on trying to win big sometime in the next 2 years with the Cubs. Exactly.
  20. C.C. is totally Fisher Stevens in Hackers.
  21. Your idea of fun is gross and creepy.
  22. Of course not. It's a done deal. http://images.wikia.com/en.futurama/images/d/da/Fry_Looking_Squint.jpg
