    Again, he doesn't have a 30-year old SP's typical wear and tear. Far below it. You can't just toss his age out there like he's a typical SP in that regard.

    Not really, they will have to do without it as much as we will have to endure it (depending on the balpark). There's no more DH than there was before, thank God. Maybe they'll look at finally getting rid of it and getting back to real baseball. Nah, you're in serious denial if you're thinking the bold part.

    To a degree. It's not like they have a flawless track record. And were you really nervous with trade rumors when it came Hendry? That was an area where he was good at his job most of the time.

    It was the sports central Anchor, schanowski It was more a general slam against Buerhle and Kaplan than the other zilches on Comcast. Understood. I just think Schanowski gets away with a lot of the same stupidity as the others just by not banging it over everybody's head so much. But if you listen to his reports it's clear he thinks Zambrano, Ramirez and Soriano all suck and that it would be absurd to even think of any of them contributing something positive to the team. I really can't think of anyone there who isn't a meatball at least most of the time.
