  1. That was an awesome hit by Tillman.
  2. That's something.
  3. This is one of the weirder over-dramatic statements you've ever made. They allowed 7 scoring drives did they not? Kudos to them for keeping them out of the end zone until now, but how could you not call this a bad defensive performance overall? It wasn't a good job, but it wasn't "horrible." If Jay plays, the D is on the field less and we win by 15 at least. Considering the circumstances with Hanie turning the ball over and not staying on the field, they did alright. Right. 7 scoring drives allowed isn't good, but allowing only 18 points out of the first 6 (until, what, 4 minutes left in the 4th?) is more than enough to win. Whoa, what was that?
  4. Yeah, man, held them to 18 whole points until this drive.
  5. Defense has nothing left.
  6. Yes, due to repeated bad signings. The Cubs have the resources going forward to "strategically" take on big name contracts that likely will be significantly overpaid in the final years of their deals. Signing Prince or Fielder aren't bad or misguided signings off the bat like, say, Soriano. The Cubs can easily spend big on them to get their productive years and take the hit of when they slip (or if they slip in Fielder's case). There's a difference between spending poorly and spending on an impact player who won't cost significantly too much over value until later in their deal.
  7. [expletive], nice kick.
  8. Signing either of those guys isn't going to put the Cubs at the Marlins' level.
  9. I want to thank sulley for giving us the new sulley for a few days to make this even more delicious.
  10. On the upside: LL, you cool as [expletive].
  11. What a monstrously hideous throw.
  12. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup.
  13. I'm so terrified every time he lets go of the ball.
  14. Don't even look at him, Jay. He is scum and not worthy of you.
  15. Knox trying to do everything his own damn 'self. Though he still sucks.
  16. I still hate you, Knox.
  17. MIRACLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE!!!! Slam.
  18. Yeah, I was cringing over that one. Really stupid late tackle.
  19. I thought that was Andy YOU ARE BORN INTO THIS, ANDY.
  20. I was mostly quiet going into this week, but in a perverse way I was hoping for this so the feasting of tears could begin anew. why the hell would you ever root for that? are you a packers fan? I always root for meatball tears. I don't want the Bears to lose, but I was expecting Hanie to suck this week. You cry more than anyone here. You are very mistaken. I'm like the best sports fan here.
