  1. Yeah, it's not like Derrek Lee's shot up 200+ points for his age 29 season. ONLY THE CARDINALS. I love the people that act like a team that never wins shouldn't ever bitch about the lucky breaks their rival that always wins catches because the team that never wins gets like a third of those same breaks. I hate that the Cardinals have Molina, but I don't need to wrap it around some kind of dumbass notion that he and they just lucked into some kind of freakish situation to bolster more of that "pixie dust" crap some people just eat the [expletive] up around here. As has been stated many, many times: the Cardinals have been a much better run organization. Teams like that tend to run into favorable situations more often than those that have run horribly like the Cubs because they tend to have better players, better coaches, better development systems and better front offices. It ain't [expletive] rocket science, kid.
  2. He wasn't a terrible hitter before 28, so it's not like it came out of nowhere. He's been a good all-around player from 24 onwards. The OPS jump is pronounced starting in 2011. So what? It looks more unusual because of 2010, but other than that he was basically getting better as he got older. It's hardly unheard of. His career-high OPS shot up 100 points in 2011 after having already played six full big-league seasons. I'm thinking that's pretty unheard of. 5. Rizzo, please stop [expletive] the bed tonight. Thanks.
  6. Starlin Castro is back, and he bestrides the world like a mighty colossus.
  7. Let me tell you something. We're gonna track this Germano down, ok? And we're going to take a flier on him. Excellent.
  8. Had a great angle on that from your seats. That was a hell of a pick by Castro and by Rizzo. Thanks for the tickets, had a great time. Glad to hear it!
  9. When is DeJesus due back? Already tired of Sappelt starting.

  13. The (brief) return of Big Time Timmy Jim.

  15. Castro with his third awesome defensive play of the night.
  16. Holly Hell, do Tim and Joe want to run down there and personally fan Molina and give him a rubdown to make sure he's OK?
  17. Yeah, it might be unfair to this reliever to compare him to Pedro [expletive] Martinez, you stupid sacks of [expletive].
  18. Yeah, and apparently the Cubs should look to move Castro to the OF to make room. And they could not be rooting harder for the Cardinals to score this inning.
  19. Fully aware of what he's doing this year (though why is his defense rated so poorly?), and I still do that deal in a heartbeat.
  20. That seems contradictory to what Theo and Jed have spoken openly about in the past. That is incredibly depressing if true.
  21. Soriano still in God-mode with a double and a HR already.
  22. I'm saying "NO, GOD, THIS BONER IS NEVER GOING TO GO AWAY IF THAT'S ALL IT TAKES TO GET STANTON."
  23. So Castro maybe has fixed everything?
