    It was obvious that Pujols was lying about his age long before I even knew what plantar fasciitis was. What a weird comment. Not really, since there's no actual evidence that he's not as old as he says he is. While it's never really all that surprising if a LA player is revealed to have done something like this, given that Pujols was already in the system and a new player when 9/11 happened and baseball faced a serious visa/immigration crackdown then (which is how a bunch of guys got caught within a relatively small time span) it's even more unlikely that he'd get away with this. Pretty much the only major exceptions with guys playing at that time were Soriano (because of his circuitous route through Japan) and Tejada.

    While there is no ""proof"" that Pujols is older than his listed age, the fact that he looks much older than his listed age and has an aging curve that suggests he's much older makes complaints like yours look really stupid. Man, harsh words. You must be about to school us all with some serious knowledge... Oh. Hm. Well, maybe next time.

    If you're asking me, I don't go by predictions (and projections). Obviously with names being floated in trade rumors and holes to fill in the offseason, I would imagine there will be some different names on the roster by the beginning of the season. Right, but the team is still mostly going to be the same. We're not talking about trades that are dismantling the team. And that first sentence should somehow be tattooed onto you.

    If plantar fasciitis is "proof" that someone is much older than they claim to be then Joakim Noah must actually be 63.

    It's awful that his career is ending like this, baseball made so much money marketing these guys when they knew what was up. Now they're taking them all out. So stupid. The league drew a pretty clear line in the sand. They aren't going after guys for offenses from 2004. Yeah, I really don't care about prior use, but once the league actually put their foot down I have zero sympathy for anyone who is caught now.

    Great to see anyone in a blue shirt crush one !! CUBS have homered in 17 of their last 20 games. (11-8) Go CUBS !! While the Yankees haven't homered in something like two weeks. Baseball is weird.
