We're still behind Louisville, who we plastered two months ago. Oh, well, if there's any justice, the Irish will smack them in the Big East title game.
I'm not quite sure what response would equate to me, but I always read the whole thread unless it's a thread that is clearly unnecessary to read through (i.e. top 5 lists).
Big East bracket: 1st round: 8 DePaul vs 9 Villanova 5 Syracuse vs 12 UConn 7 West Virginia vs 10 Providence 6 Marquette vs 11 St John's 2nd round: 1 Georgetown vs 8/9 winner 4 ND vs 5/12 winner 2 Louisville vs 7/10 winner 3 Pittsburgh vs 6/11 winner I have to miss ND's 2nd round game thanks to class - but at least we have computers so I can watch on Sportsline. Oh, and Ball State lost 71-67 to Western Michigan. Just my luck that I was enrolled in school for the worst season in Ball State history (the 22 losses that we will end up with is a record).
another team with the refs out to get them.... funny how nobody ever notices that the refs are boning over the team that their favorite team is playing against Funny how you failed to notice that I didn't say they were boning over my team. I was calling out the refs for calling stupid touch fouls...on both teams.
The White Sox are a ridiculous bush league organization. How anyone can want to play there after their last few years of trashing anyone who leaves and dares speak less than glowing words about their racist manager and idiot GM is beyond me.
Entertaining? More like annoying. Am I the only one that reads a little grinning condescension into that statement? Or do I just have wishful thinking?
http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20070303&content_id=1825519&vkey=spt2007news&fext=.jsp&c_id=chc Samardizjia topped out at 98 and averaged 97, and broke 2 bats. Not too shabby. Wow. Shark Fever. :D I guess it's needless to say that I've never rooted for a Cubs minor leaguer more.
Damn it, the lack of consistency is galling with these referees. They're suddenly calling everything. ND up 57-50 thanks to Rutgers blowing the freebies the refs are giving them.
Refs in the ND/Rutgers game have been pretty awful. They've shot 10 free throws to our 1 even though we've been banging it inside most of the game and they've been chucking jumpers. Irish still lead 35-26 at the break.
Cuse lost so ND won't have to play till Thursday in the Big East tourney :D Now they need to pass Louisville to get 3rd place so I don't have to miss their 2nd round game
ND plays Rutgers at 4 on ESPN. A win or Syracuse loss clinches a bye in the BET for the Irish, while a win and Louisville loss would give them a 3 seed.
Panthers re-sign Na'il Diggs to a one-year deal, meaning no one of any consequence will be leaving the Panthers through free agency. With little cap room, it's unlikely we do much, although there is talk about Ken Hamlin, the safety from Seattle.
